Abstract:
An articulated device comprises a first member (4) that is provided with a first set of teeth fixedly connected thereto (20, 22). A second adjacent member (6) is provided with a second set of teeth fixedly connected thereto (24, 26). A coupling section (32, 38) is also provided on which the first set of teeth is hingeably supported around a first hinge axis (28, 34) and on which the second set of teeth is hingeably supported around a second hinge axis (30, 36) wherein the first set of teeth engages with the second set of teeth. A positioning device sets an angular position of the first and second members relative to the coupling section.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The cylinder (11) actuating the longitudinal guide (5) for sliding the doors (1) actuates said guide with the aid of a C-shaped arm (12) that is integral with the cylinder and hingedly connected to a second arm (14) which is in turn hingedly connected to the guide (5). An articulated rod (16) is hingedly connected to the end of said C-shaped arm (12). Said rod rotates on a shaft (15) to which it conveys a rotational movement during actuation of the cylinder (11). The shaft is in turn designed to transmit said rotational movement generated by the cylinder to the blocking and safety means that keep the doors in embedded or closed position.
Abstract:
A canopy garage door opener including a mechanism (28) for interconnecting a horizontal, rectilinear reciprocating carriage drive means to a canopy door having a first axis fixed to the door and movable vertically in a guide means and a pair of crank arms pivoted at the top of a door opening and to a horizontal axis fixed with respect to the door. The mechanism (28) includes a lever (30) pivoted to the carriage forming part of a quadrangular link assembly pivoted to the door at one apex (34) and connected by another link (36) to the door from an adjacent apex (40). Guard means (51) including fixed (52) and movable plates (56) are disposed on both sides of the mechanism to shield it, the movable plates (56) being pivotally connected to the mechanism and being rotated by a cam (52a) and follower (60) connection to the fixed plates (52).
Abstract:
A method of installation of remote controlled doors and especially overhead sectional doors to a doorway includes to following steps: (i) mounting a track member (9) to a doorway (8) on one side of the doorway and adjacent a top part of a doorway wherein said track member (9) extends into a building such as a garage which incorporates the doorway (8) substantially parallel with and spaced from the path (17) defined by movement of a door (10A) installed in said doorway (8) into said building, the track member incorporates a control member (10) movable along the track member (9) and wherein there is also provided drive means (18) for actuating movement of the control member (10); and (ii) connecting said door (10A) to said track member (9) by providing link means (7) and pivotally attaching the link means (7) to said door (10A) and also to said movable control member (10) whereby said door (10A) may open or close said doorway (8) by movement of the control member (10) upon remote controlled operation of said drive means (18).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive door driving device which can reduce control force to be required when a user opens a door rotatably supported to a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A door driving device 20 comprises: a latch mechanism 30 for locking a door 10 at a fully closed position; an operator CT which outputs a signal representing that the door 10 is opened; a control unit ECU which drives an actuator in response to the signal; a rod 41 which goes back and forth to the door 10 in accordance with rotation of the door 10; and a lever mechanism 60 which is driven by the actuator, rotates the door 10 from the fully closed position to the outside of a passenger compartment to locate the door 10 at a predetermined rotating position by engaging into the rod 41 to energize the rod 41 after releasing lock of the door 10 by engaging into the latch 30, and constituted so that engagement with the rod 41 is released when external force for further rotating the door 10 to the outside of the passenger compartment is added to the door 10 at a state that the door 10 is at the predetermined rotating position.
Abstract:
Provided is a hinge device that is capable of increasing an open angle of a second member relative to a first member without upsizing of the hinge device. A first pulley 24 is fixed to a first mounting member 4 to be mounted on the first member. A second pulley 28 is fixed to a second mounting member 5 to be mounted on the second member. A timing belt 30 is made run between the first pulley 24 and the second pulley 28. Ione end of a connecting member 6 that connects the first mounting member 4 to the second connecting member 5 is connected rotatably to an axis part 21 of the first mounting member 4 and the opposite end of the connecting member 6 is connected rotatably to an axis part 27 of the second mounting member 5. Pins 32a to 32c that abut to the outside of the timing belt 30 are provided such that the width between one side 30a and the opposite side 30b of the timing belt becomes smaller than the diameter of at least one of the first pulley 24 and the second pulley 28.
Abstract:
A linkage member 3 is pivotally supported, through a first shaft 30, by an article 1 having an opening, is supported, through a second shaft 31, by a lid member 2, and includes a latch 32 engageable with a latch receiver 12 disposed in the article 1. The lid member 2 has an engageable end 201 disposed therein so as to be receivable into an engagement hole 34 formed in the linkage member 3 and further has a switching member 20 disposed therein so as to be movable to selectively set the engageable end 201 in an advanced position to place the engageable end in a most deepest position in the linkage member 3 through the engagement hole 34, in a retracted position to take the engageable end out of the engagement hole 34, and in an intermediate position between both of the advanced position and the retract position. When the engageable end 201 of the switching member 20 is set in the advanced position, the engageable end brings the latch 32 out of engagement with the latch receiver 12.
