Abstract: Provides is an automotive black box system capable of recording external sounds. The black box system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises an image capturing unit which captures images of the front side of a vehicle to produce a video, an internal microphone which is equipped inside the vehicle, an external microphone which is equipped outside the vehicle, and a processor which stores the video produced by the image capturing unit, internal sounds acquired by the internal microphone, and external sounds acquired by the external microphone in a storage medium. According to the present invention, the external sounds are recorded as vehicle driving data. Thus, full investigation into a traffic accident can be achieved.
