Abstract: PURPOSE: To record, erase and reproduce information with high density at high rate by forming a dielectric layer A, a recording layer B, a dielectric layer C, an absorption amount correction layer D containing W or MO, and a resin layer E sequentially and specifying the thicknesses of the layer B and C, respectively, at specific nm. CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate substrate P is subjected to sputtering of ZnS added with SiO2 while turning in Ar gas atmosphere within a vacuum vessel thus forming a dielectric layer A of 250nm on the substrate P. It is then subjected to sputtering of an alloy target composed of Pd, Nb, Ge, Sb and Te to form a recording layer B having thickness of 10-45nm followed by formation of a 1-25nm thick dielectric layer C of same material as the layer A. Furthermore, a 1-200nm thick absorption amount correction layer D of W95, Cr41 (at.%) is formed thereon and an acryl based UV-curing resin is to form a resin layer E of 10μm. It is then stuck to an identical optical recording medium through adhesive. This medium can record, erase and reproduce information signals at high rate with high density.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a superconducting thin film having high critical temperature on a substrate readily oxidizable at high temperature by forming a thin film from a mixed solution comprising lead, Sr, Ca and Cu alkoxides or alkoxyalcoholates and polar organic solvent on a substrate, gelatinizing and burning. CONSTITUTION:A mixed solution comprising lead, Sr, Ca and Cu alkoxides or alkoxyalcoholates, an alkanolamine, an alcohol or an alkoxyalcohol and a polar organic solvent is prepared. For example, diethanolamine may be cited as the alkanolamine, ethanol as the alcohol and tetrahydrofuran as the polar organic solvent. A thin film of the mixed solution is formed on a heat-resistant substrate and the thin film is dried to give a gelatinized thin film comprising the alkoxides or the alkoxyalcoholates and the alkanolamine. Then, the gelatinized thin film is burnt together with the substrate to readily give a superconducting thin film having >=105K superconducting completion temperature.
