Abstract:
A window regulator employs a drive cable to regulate opening and closing of a window in a vehicle. The drive cable is attached to a glider which is attached to the window, and extends around a loop which includes first and second guide elements and a drive drum. Rotation of the drive drum causes movement of the cable which in turn causes movement of the window. One of the guide elements is coupled to a torsion spring which causes the guide element to be forced outward to increase the circumference of the loop traveled by the cable and thereby to maintain tension on the cable. The guide element may take the form of a rotatable pulley.
Abstract:
What is disclosed is a new and novel fume hood sash operator system and a fume hood containing such a system. The sash operator is constructed to operate with a belt drive and a clutch mechanism so that the sash member can be stopped, started, moved up or down to accommodate changes in the flow or air moving through the hood structure and to provide a safe, durable, energy-saving sash operating system.
Abstract:
A wire-type door or window regulator for an automotive vehicle comprises: (a) a bracket provided so as to support the door or window pane; (b) a channel-shaped guide rail provided so as to move the bracket upward and downward therealong; (c) pulleys provided at both ends of the channel-shaped guide rail; (d) a wire extending between the two pulleys along the channel-shaped guide rail and attached to the bracket; (e) a wire moving or driving means having a drum and baseplate on which the drum stands, the wire being fixedly wrapped around the drum so as to turn the two pulleys according to the rotational direction of the drum; (f) two supporting elements, each being slightly compressed within the gap between the baseplate and the ends of the guide rail so as to maintain the tension of the wires; and (g) two wire guide members, each engaging the corresponding supporting element to the wire extended between the drum and corresponding pulley, whereby a predetermined tension can always be applied to the wire and the configuration of the wire-type door or window regulator can be maintained during shipping and thereafter.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cylinder mechanism, which applies force to completely open a hatch when the hatch of a vehicle is opened more than a certain angle. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a cylinder mechanism for hatch opening of a vehicle includes: a cylinder body of which an internal space is filled with gas; a piston unit which is inserted into the cylinder body to reciprocate longitudinally; a guide which covers part of the outer surface of the piston unit in order to inhibit shaking in the other direction except the movement of the piston unit in a longitudinal direction; an oil chamber which is arranged in the guide to receive a lubricant; an oil spreading pad which is formed to protrude toward the outer surface of the piston unit from the oil chamber, and spreads the lubricant supplied from the oil chamber over the outer surface of the piston unit; and a pressurizing fluid chamber which receives a fluid, which expands in volume at a temperature less than or equal to a certain temperature, therein, and pressurizes the oil chamber according to a change in an outdoor temperature such that the oil spreading pad selectively comes into contact with the outer surface of the piston unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vent for smoke elimination, more specifically, to a high functional vent that can automatically open/close a vent installed high above a door for indoor ventilation, which can quickly prevent a poisonous gas from entering in case of a fire while preventing insects and crime at the same time when the vent is open. The present invention comprises: a ventilation opening (11) that is formed on window frame (10) on the upper part of the door (1); security grills for window (20) that have vent holes (20a) on the front of the window frame (10), which are coupled to screws (23); a screen (21) that is attached to the rear side of the security grills for window (20), which is fixed by a frame (22); a gate (30) that is on the rear side of the window frame (10), which is hinged (31) to open/close the gate; and a chain (42) that appears in the curved line from an opening/closing device (40), which is connected to the gate (30) for opening/closing of the gate.
Abstract:
A door for a vehicle is provided to move a door glass plate up and down in stable locations by guiding the door glass plate on two front and rear guide rails. A door for a vehicle comprises a window opening(5) formed at an upper side of the vehicle door, a panel(3) installed at a lower side of the door, a glass plate(10) movable upward and downward, guide rails(7,8), and a drive unit(20). The glass plate closes the window opening when the glass plate is in a closed position. The guide rails are arranged at front and rear edges of the glass plate for guiding the glass plate during the upward and downward movement thereof. The drive unit is installed at a lower side of the vehicle door to drive the glass plate up and down. The drive unit includes a base panel, a wire driving drum(25), and a carrier plate(38).
Abstract:
A threaded drum is rotated by a drive shaft. As the threaded drum rotates, part of a cable is wrapped around the drum, while at the same time, a second part of the cable is unwrapped from the drum. Rotation of the drive shaft is based on rotation of an operator.
Abstract:
An aperture closure arrangement (10a) has an aperture closure (12a) formed from a plurality of panels (39) hinged together at generally horizontal axes. Each (panel 39) has a runner (16a) fixed near its upper edge and constrained to run in a (track 31). The track (31a, 31 b, 31c) defines the path of the runners (16a), as the aperture closure (12a) opens and closes, and therefore defines the movement of the (panels 39). An elongate flexible member (22a) in the form of a cable or chain is connected to the aperture closure (12a) at an attachment point (24a). The elongate flexible member (22a) is also connected to a drive arrangement (not shown) operable to pull open the aperture closure (12a). Guide members (30, 32) define the path of the elongate flexible member (22a) between the attachment point 24a and the drive arrangement (not shown). At least one of the guide members (30) is a deflection member sufficiently close to the track (31c) to allow the attachment point (24a) to pass the deflection member (30) beyond the deflection member (30) when viewed from the said path, as the aperture closure (12a) closes and opens, thereby threading and unthreading the elongate flexible member (22a) from the deflection member (30).
