    Abstract: PURPOSE: A door closer guard is provided to prevent malfunction and trouble due to long-term use and to be easily installed by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A door closer guard comprises a friction drum(10), an actuating piece(20), and a centrifugal brake unit. The friction drum is equipped with a fixing plate at one side and a ring gear on the inner circumferential surface. The actuating piece comprises a connector(22) at one end and rotates around the friction drum. The centrifugal brake unit comprises a rotary plate and a friction piece. The rotary plate is installed to the actuating piece and is equipped with a shaft gear which is engaged with a ring gear through a planetary gear and rotates. The friction piece is connected to the upper part of the rotary plate through a shaft seal with one end and is extended by centrifugal force during rotation to generate friction to the inner circumferential surface of the friction drum.
