Flon 2, etc., are blended with the above-mentioned composition and a propellant is used. The composition is particularly preferred for use on infants.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A liquid shampoo composition that is prepared by previously treating menthol with methylated cyclodextrin, adding the product to a shampoo composition, further preferably adding urea thereto, thus giving satisfactor coolness, when used, with its specific odor inhibited. CONSTITUTION:Menthol is previously treated with methylated cyclodextrin of the formula (n is 6-9, at least one among 3n A groups is methyl and the remainings are H) (preferably 0.05-5wt% of menthol and the amount of the cyclodextrin is 1/2-20pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the menthol). The product is combined with at least one of surfactants such as polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate sodium salt in an amount of 5-30wt%) to give the objective shampoo composition. Further, addition of urea (3-20wt%) intensifies cool feeling of the shampoo. EFFECT:Any perfume can be freely selected and fresh coolness is given.
