    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a production process for a latent high-bulkiness polyester multifilament yarn satisfying both the stability under high-speed operation and the bulkiness performance. CONSTITUTION:An undrawn polyethylene terephthalate multifilament yarn is adjusted in its tension by loading tensions between tensor 3 and the feed roller 4 and between the feed roller 4 and the heating roller 5 and the yarn is drawn at a specific ratio between the heating roller 5 and the drawing roller 6, as the yarn is heated with the heat roller 5. Then, the drawn yarn is opened into individual filaments with the opening vibrator 7, as the yarn is blown with pressurized air, and fed to the heating plate 8 under relaxation so that the yarn is allowed to run under heterogeneous contact under the conditions satisfying formula I and formula II [MP is the melting point of the undrawn yarn in deg.C; T is the temperature of the heating plate in deg.C; D, d are the yarn and filament deniers after drawing in denier], then interlaced 9, and wound up through the take-up roller under the relaxation 10 into a pirn 11. Thus, a latent bulkiness polyester yarn which can develop high bulkiness is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject false-twisted textured yarn for worsted-like woven fabric giving woven fabric spun-like feeling capable of using in mixing with wool comprising at least two species of polyester filaments having different yarn size and mixing and confounding of every filaments at bordering part of core part and sheath part.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title blended yarn suitable for silky wool-like woven and knitted fabric by blending a highly shrinkable yarn with a low shrinkable yarn each being a specific value or above in the difference of boiling water shrinkage factor and/or dry heat shrinkage and constituting the low shrinkable yarn from a polyester and wax. CONSTITUTION:A highly shrinkable yarn and low shrinkable yarn being >=5%, preferably >=7.5% in the difference of boiling water shrinkage factor and/or 200 deg.C dry heat shrinkage factor and blended to provide a good bulky property and drape property to the yarn. The low shrinkable yarn is composed of a modified polyester fiber containing a polyester consisting essentially of ethylene terephthalate recurring units and wax of 1-10wt.% based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyester and the wax contains 50-95wt.% higher aliphatic monocarboxylic acid ester and 5-50wt.% hydrocarbon and has 6-30 acid value, thus provides a flexibility and a slimy feeling.
