Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the picture quality of a receiver by using a horizontal synchronizing signal so as to control a switching means thereby preventing the production of an automatic frequency control error signal. CONSTITUTION:An automatic frequency control AFC error signal 15a is a voltage component being a true AFC error signal when the frequency of a horizontal synchronizing signal HSYNC 12 gets higher (or lower). A switch circuit 3 is provided to the post-stage of an LPF 2 so as to be turned off in a way that an AFC error signal 15 is not supplied to a VCO 4 for a period being a width tau1 synchronously with the HSYNC 12 fed to a comparator circuit 1. Since no AFC error voltage 15 is generated entirely when the frequency of the HSYNC 12 is stable, the position shift caused in a pattern in a direction orthogonal to the horizontal scanning line is eliminated thereby improving the picture quality.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the luminance and the contrast of an auxiliary picture independent of a main picture by detecting the beam current value of an image receiving tube, controlling the level of a main video signal, detecting the mean luminance level of an auxiliary video signal and controlling the level of the auxiliary video signal. CONSTITUTION:A main screen from a main TV circuit MK is projected on the whole tube surface of the image receiving tube 18, and an auxiliary screen from an auxiliary TV circuit SK is projected in the main screen. A beam current detection circuit 31 detects the current value of a beam current supplied from a deflection/voltage circuit 26 to the image receiving tube 18. The output from the circuit 31 is supplied to a main video/chrominance components circuit 8M, and the level of the main video signal is controlled. A luminance signal Y from a matrix circuit 14 is supplied to a level detection circuit 33, and the mean level is detected. The output from the circuit 33 is supplied to a gain control amplifier 32. Thus, the luminance and the contrast of the auxiliary picture can be controlled independent of the main picture.

CONSTITUTION: When a signal of A in the figure and a blanking pulse of B in the figure are supplied to a reproducing circuit 3 from a YC processing circuit 2, the signal from the circuit 2 and the pedestal level are supplied respectively to the bases of Trs 31, 32 of the circuit 3. At the same time, the base of the Tr32 is grounded through a Tr33, and the blanking pulse is supplied to the base of the Tr33, and reproduction output is taken out from the junction of emitters of Tr31, 32. As output signals of the circuit 3 are as shown by the figure C, the possibility of deterioration of S/N of the signal becomes small when the maximum amplitude of the signal is brought within the dynamic range of an A/D converting circuit 4. As the pedestal level formed here is maintained to an output of a D/A converting circuit 6, the level is clamped at the black level of a receiving set 7, and the picture does not become unnatural.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain stable color temperature switching independently of variation of a black level of a chrominance signal by providing a level limit means to a prescribed path among signal paths through which R, G, G chrominance signals are applied. CONSTITUTION:The R, G, B signals from an integrated circuit 1 are synthesized respectively via resistors 8R, 8G, 8B and applied to a transistor (TR) 9 as a luminance signal Y. The TR9 is turned off at the horizontal blanking pulse period and a voltage depending on the luminance signal Y is obtained at a connecting point P1 in other periods. Then a voltage EV obtained at a connecting point P4 corresponds to the black level of the luminance signal Y, it is low when the black level is low and high when the black level is high. Thus, when the R and G signals from the integrated circuit 1 reaches to EV+VBE or over, since diodes 6R, 6G are conducted, an input level of a drive amplifier 3 is limited in response to the black level of the luminance signal and the color temperature is changed over.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the fluctuation of luminance level by detecting a black signal and extending the black signal to make the peak value coincides with a pedestal level. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is applied from an input terminal 11 to a one time amplifier 1 and a black detecting circuit 2. A blanking pulse and a reference voltage E1 are applied to the black detecting circuit 2, and the black signal of video signal is detected. The amplitude of detected black signal is controlled by a gain control amplifier 3 and added with the output of the one time amplifier 1 at an addition point 8, and the amplitude of the black signal is extended. The output of addition point 8 is sent to a black peak hold circuit 5 through a blanking circuit 4 and black peak level is detected. Gain of the gain control amplifier 3 is controlled by the difference between detected peak level and a pedestal level EP, and the black peak level is made coincide with the pedestal level.
