    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original disk exposure device and an original disk exposure method in which measurement is constantly conducted for the amount of illuminating current without interrupting exposure operation of electron beams that illuminate a base body and use is made of the electron beams whose illuminating current amount is controlled by the measurement value.
    SOLUTION: The device is provided with an electron gun control section 38 which controls an electron gun 1, reflected electron detectors 8a and 8b which detect reflected electrons generated by illuminating a base body 9 with electron beams, an illuminating current amount monitoring section 40 which monitors the amount of illuminating current based on the amount of reflected electrons, a direct electron detector 10 in which electron beams by an electron beam illumination adjusting means are directly made incident and illuminating current amount is detected and an illuminating current amount detection control section 39 which controls the generation of electron beams by change information in a prescribed interval of the illuminating current amount based on at least the reflected electron amount and the illuminating current amount based on direct incident of electron beams so as to control the illuminating current amount of the exposure electron beams.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a control signal to be inserted into a slight area and to enable a control signal, for example, a clock signal to be detected in a state that a jitter is few by providing a groove and/or a land with interrupted parts at a prescribed interval and detecting the control signal with these interrupted parts. SOLUTION: A mirror mark part M is formed by dividing a groove G in the middle. This mirror mark part M is not made to a recessed part but to a flat part. This part becomes interrupted parts of the groove G. A tan P-P signal (A-B) shown by a line OG is detected by irradiating the center of the groove G made as a track center with a laser beam and detecting the reflected light with photodetectors bisected in the scanning direction. Similarly, the tan P-P signal (A-B) shown by a line OL is detected by irradiating the center of the land L made as a track center with the laser beam and detecting the reflected light with photodetctors bisected in the scanning direction. Thus, these signals can be utilized as a control signal.
