    Abstract: USER INTERFACE FOR RECEIVING USER INPUT The present disclosure relates to user interfaces for receiving user input. In some examples, a device determines which user input technique a user has accessed most recently, and displays the corresponding user interface. In some examples, a device scrolls through a set of information on the display. When a threshold criteria is satisfied, the device displays an index object fully or partially overlaying the set of information. In some examples, a device displays an emoji graphical object, which is visually manipulated based on user input. The emoji graphical object is transmitted to a recipient. In some examples, a device displays paging affordances that enlarge and allow a user to select a particular page of a user interface. In some examples, the device displays user interfaces for various input methods, including multiple emoji graphical objects. In some examples, a keyboard is displays for receiving user input.

    Abstract: A computer system has a plurality of notifications in a notification history, including a first notification of a first event of a first event type and a second notification of a second event of the first event type. The first notification and the second notification are coalesced in the notification history. In response to detecting an additional event of the first event type, a third notification is created for the additional event. After creating the third notification, in response to a request to display a wake screen, the wake screen is displayed with the third notification. The third notification is displayed without information about the first notification and the second notification. After the third notification has been displayed, in response to a request to display the notification history, the notification history is displayed with a coalesced representation of the first notification and the second notification.

    Abstract: An electronic device displays a first user interface that includes a plurality of application icons that correspond to different applications of a plurality of applications installed on the device. The device detects a first input at a location on the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to a first application icon of the plurality of application icons, the first application icon corresponding to a first application of the plurality of applications. In response to detecting the first input, the device displays a first mini application object or a preview of the first mini application object in an overlay region, where the first mini application object corresponds to a first application of the plurality of applications; and the overlay region includes an affordance for adding the first mini application object to a second user interface that displays a plurality of mini application objects. The device detects a second input at a location on the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to the affordance for adding the first mini application object to the second user interface. In response to detecting the second input, the device adds the first mini application object to the second user interface that displays the plurality of mini application objects.
