    Abstract: A slim window actuator (1) for being mounted in a channel in a window frame (3) to operate the sash (4) of a pivot hung window. Typically, the cross-section of this channel measures about 25 by 25 mm. The window actuator comprises an elongated housing (10), in which a drive spindle is received. The chains may be engaged and disengaged by rotating around sprockets which deliver the force to the chain drive. The chain drive may be utilized as a garage door system for raising or moving laterally a garage door or movable barrier with the chain drive in compression.
