Abstract:
Releasable coupling (1) comprising a male part (2) and a female part (3), said male part (2) having a head portion (4), and said female part (3) having a base part (30) with a recess (6) for said head portion (4), said female part further having a yielding closure member (7) biased in a direction to at least partially cover the recess (6). To provide a coupling which is less demanding with regard to precise mutual positioning of the coupling parts at installation thereof, the closure member (7) is adapted for cooperation with said male part (2) in a first mutual angular position of the male and female parts (2, 3), in which the male and female parts (2, 3) are in non-positive engagement to allow release of the head portion (4) of the male part (2) from the recess (6), and a second mutual angular position in which the male and female parts (2, 3) are held in positive engagement by the closure member (7) to hinder release of the head portion (4) of the male part (2) from the recess (6).
Abstract:
A slim window actuator (1) for being mounted in a channel in a window frame (3) to operate the sash (4) of a pivot hung window. Typically, the cross-section of this channel measures about 25 by 25 mm. The window actuator comprises an elongated housing (10), in which a drive spindle is received. The drive spindle (12) is suspended from a first bearing (20) and a second bearing (38) and has an intermediate section (15) situated between the two bearings. At least one of the bearings (20, 38) is configured to provide the drive spindle (12) with an axially positive support reaction directed away from the intermediate section (15). A link mechanism (6, 76, 80) having a first part being (75) arranged displaceable along the drive spindle (12) and driven by the intermediate section (15) and a second part (7) for operating said sash (4). The second part (7) is displaceable in a substantially traverse direction away from or towards the housing (10) by rotation of the drive spindle (12). A drive motor (31) is disposed inside said elongate housing (10) and operably connected to said drive spindle (12).
Abstract:
A chain operator housing (1) comprising a barrier member (16) for subdividing the interior of said operator housing (1) into an operator chain compartment, which is open to the exterior, and a drive compartment, which is substantially sealed from the exterior.
Abstract:
A multi-strand chain forms a chain drive including at least two chains so that the chain drive may communicate a force when the chain is pushed or pulled. The chains maybe separated or disengage so as to be stored compactly. The chains may be engaged to form the chain drive so that the chain drive is substantially rigid and in a linear orientation, and pivotally connected chain links may not substantially rotate relative to each other and may not be deflected substantially from the linear orientation. The chains may be engaged and disengaged by rotating around sprockets which deliver the force to the chain drive. The chain drive may be utilized as a garage door system for raising or moving laterally a garage door or movable barrier with the chain drive in compression.
Abstract:
Rain sensor arrangement for an operator for a window, said window comprising a frame, a sash pivotable with respect to said frame, and a pane mounted in said sash. The operator is adapted for pivoting said sash between a closed and an open position and vice versa, and said operator is controlled via a control circuitry responsive to input signals from at least a rain sensor. The rain sensor has at least one sensing area arranged so as to be protected against rain by said window, when the sash is in the closed position.
Abstract:
A door assembly having a door tracking in a fixed track (101) for opening and closing of the door, a rack (104) is tracked to move on a fixed locus and is connected to the door, the movement of the rack (104) causing the opening or closing of the door, the rack being engageable by a meshing door opening and/or closing pinion (113) of a door opener, whereby the door is opened upon the controlled rotation of the pinion (113) in one direction by the door opener, and wherein the rack (104) is bifurcated in transverse section, the fixed locus is defined by a wall (106) such as a flange, rail or the like of a fixed track (101), the rack (104) being partly outside and partly inside the wall (106), the pinion engaging the track (104) over regions thereof on one side of the wall (106) preferably outside of the wall.
Abstract:
For opening and closing a window or a door into and from a ventilation position a chain operating device is provided, having a first and a second fixture secured on the main frame and the frame, respectively. One fixture is firmly connected with one end of a chain (4) in engagement with a sprocket wheel mounted in the second fixture and which is driven by a rotating driving member. Said one connected fixture is designed as a two-parted coupling fixture comprising a first fixture part (1, 5) connected with the chain (4) and a second fixture part (17 to 19) connected with a frame or main frame structure. Said two fixture parts (1, 5; 17 to 19) have the form of elongated profiles that may be coupled together having individually at one end a stationary locking means (7, 22) and at the other end a releasable locking means (9, 23) so that the stationary locking means on one fixture part may be retained in releasable engagement with the releasable locking means on the second fixture part. Each of the releasable locking means (9, 23) can be switched over between two positions for releasing and retaining, respectively, the corresponding stationary locking means (22, 7).
