PURPOSE: Provided are a hydroxamic acid derivative which shows an antiaging effect and is improved in safety and stability to the skin stimulus and discoloration, its preparation method, and an antiaging skin preparation for external use and a collagenase and elastase expression inhibitor containing the derivative. CONSTITUTION: The hydroxamic acid derivative is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are H, a C1-C10 alkyl group or a C3-C6 cycloalkyl group; R3 is CONH, NHCO, CONR5 or NR5CO (wherein R5 is H or a C1-C10 alkyl group); and R4 is -(CH)n- (wherein n is 0 or 1). The method comprises the steps of reacting benzoic acid and methyl 4-aminobenzoate or 4-aminophenylacetic acid methyl ester or reacting aniline and monomethyl terephthalate, to prepare a benzamide compound; substituting the amino bond of the benzamide compound into an alkyl bond; hydrolyzing the methyl ester group to prepare an acid; and reacting the obtained acid with hydroxyl amine·HCl salt to prepare the hydroxamic acid derivative of the formula 1.

PURPOSE: A method for preparing secoisolariciresinol is provided to obtain a cosmetic composition having good absorptivity to the user's skin and excellent activity of inhibiting the formation of reactive oxygen species. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing secoisolariciresinol comprises hydrolyzing flaxseed extract or secoisolariciresinol diglucoside separated therefrom. The hydrolysis is an acidic hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis or enzymatic hydrolysis. More particularly, the enzyme used in the enzymatic hydrolysis is selected from the group consisting of exo-glycolases and composite enzymes containing exo-glycolases. Further, the cosmetic composition contains the secoisolariciresinol in an amount of 0.0001 to 10 wt% based on the total weight of the composition.

PURPOSE: Liquid crystal cross linked polymer microcapsules capable of completely stabilizing water-insoluble active ingredients, a process for preparing the capsules, a method for stabilizing the active ingredients using the liquid crystal capsules, and a cosmetic composition for retaining the active ingredients for a long time by containing the microcapsules are provided. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing liquid crystal cross linked polymer microcapsules comprises a step (a) of polymerizing polymer having crosslinkable functional groups by polymerizing monomer having crosslinkable functional groups and monomer capable of radical polymerization; a step (b) of uniformly dissolving thermotropic liquid crystal, hydrophobic monomer and the polymer having crosslinkable functional groups prepared in the step (a) into organic solvent, emulsifying the solution in an aqueous solution in which dispersion stabilizer having a proper concentration is dissolved, and adding initiator and polymerization inhibitor to the emulsified solution, thereby polymerizing the emulsified solution so that thermotropic liquid crystal polymer microcapsules are manufactured; a step (c) of collecting water-insoluble active ingredients into the capsules; and a step (d) of cross linking the water-insoluble active ingredients collected liquid crystal polymer microcapsules, wherein 0.1 to 50 wt.% of the monomer having crosslinkable functional groups for the total weight of the polymer is used in the step (a) of polymerizing polymer having crosslinkable functional groups.

PURPOSE: A method for screening a material which prevents gray hair using a transgenic cell line and a vitiligo model mouse(C57bl/6-Mitfmi-vit) and a composition containing the same are provided to simultaneously recognize MITF, tyrosinase, and TRP2 changes in gene, protein, and melanin levels. CONSTITUTION: A melan-a melanocyte cell line tyrosinase-GLuc(KCLRF-BP-00163) is prepared by transforming with an expression vector, pTyrosinase-GLuc. A method for screening a material which prevents gray hair comprises: a step of treating a candidate material which prevents gray hair to the transgenic melanocyte cell line; a step of measuring the production quantity of GLuc existing in a medium; a step of applying the candidate material onto the back of a vitiligo mouse; and a step of measuring the melanin quantity of newly grown hair from the back of vitiligo mouse.
