Abstract: PURPOSE: A ball jig for assembling a sleeve of a manual transmission is provided to improve the assembling efficiency of a sleeve by assembling the sleeve while supporting a synchronizer ball installed in a hub gear. CONSTITUTION: A ball jig for assembling a sleeve of a manual transmission comprises a round frame(70) having an inner diameter longer than the outer diameter of a sleeve and a ball support(80) for pressing a synchronizer ball(60) applied with the elasticity of a synchronizer spring(59). The sleeve concentrically moves with the round frame. If the sleeve pushes the side portion of the ball support, a front end portion(81) of the ball support supports the ball until the synchronizer ball sticks to the inner face of the sleeve. Thereafter, the front end portion of the ball support is pushed toward the side portion of the sleeve.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A lug assembly structure of a shift rail assembly is provided to easily perform assembling by preventing a lug from rotating and moving right and left by external impact in assembling of the lug fit in a shift rail. CONSTITUTION: A shift rail assembly comprises shift rails installed to a transmission housing, lugs fixed to a side of shift rails by a fixing pin, and a shift fork installed to the other side of the shift rails. The shift rails move right and left. The lugs rectilinearly move the shift rails by a control finger to be operated according to the operation of a transmission lever. The shift fork performs shifting according to the operation of the lug. The lug includes a lug support device(60) for supporting the position to assemble the lug, in fitting the fixing pin for assembling with the shift rail. The lug support device comprises a fixed unit(62) fixed to the transmission housing and a lug support unit(64) fit in a groove of the lug. The control finger is fit in the groove of the lug to support the assembling position of the lug.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A reverse speed change gear of a manual transmission is provided to prevent a rattling noise of a gear caused by a backlash of the gear when a reverse idler gear idles. CONSTITUTION: A reverse speed change gear of a manual transmission includes a reverse speed gear, mounted to an input shaft of the transmission; a reverse idler gear(2), engaged with the reverse speed gear; a reverse output gear, engaged with the reverse idler gear and fixed to an output shaft; an idler shaft(4) rotatably supporting the reverse idler gear; and a rattling noise-preventing unit. The rattling noise-preventing unit makes gear backlash between the reverse idler gear and the matching gear just incase of reverse speed change. Great pitch diameter of the reverse idler gear is formed, to prevent backlash between the reverse idler gear and the engaging gear. Retainers(15), supporting the idler shaft, are disposed on both sides of the idler shaft. Rubber packing(19) is inserted between the idler shaft and the retainer. Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reduction cooling fan for motor vehicle is provided to reduce noise by interfering the phase of noise generated at the end of blade and attaching a sound absorbing member to the front and rear surfaces of the blade. CONSTITUTION: A blade(11) of a cooling fan is fixed in a predetermined direction to a central rotating shaft(12). The blade has a fluid flow curve(13) formed at the front surface of the blade so as to reduce noise by guiding flow of fluid and adjusting the thickness of turbulent flow boundary layer, and a sound absorbing member(14) attached to the front and rear surfaces of the blade.
