    Abstract: An electronic device displays a first user interface that includes a plurality of application icons that correspond to different applications of a plurality of applications installed on the device. The device detects a first input at a location on the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to a first application icon of the plurality of application icons, the first application icon corresponding to a first application of the plurality of applications. In response to detecting the first input, the device displays a first mini application object or a preview of the first mini application object in an overlay region, where the first mini application object corresponds to a first application of the plurality of applications; and the overlay region includes an affordance for adding the first mini application object to a second user interface that displays a plurality of mini application objects. The device detects a second input at a location on the touch-sensitive surface that corresponds to the affordance for adding the first mini application object to the second user interface. In response to detecting the second input, the device adds the first mini application object to the second user interface that displays the plurality of mini application objects.

    Abstract: An electronic device: displays a home button configuration user interface with a plurality of different tactile output settings for the home button. While displaying the home button configuration user interface, the device detects selection of a respective tactile output setting. In response to detecting a first input of a first type on the home button (while the respective tactile output setting is selected), the device determines whether the respective tactile output setting is a first or a second tactile output setting for the home button. If the respective tactile output setting is the first tactile output setting, the device provides a first tactile output without dismissing the home button configuration user interface. The device further, in response to detecting the first portion of the input that includes the first movement of the first contact, in accordance with a determination that the first movement of the first contact meets first movement-threshold criteria that are a precondition for performing a first operation, generates a first tactile output, and in accordance with a determination that the first movement of the first contact does not meet the first movement-threshold criteria for the first operation, forgoes generation of the first tactile output.
