PURPOSE: A method for evaluating the efficiency of a sun screen is provided to accurately evaluate efficiency of blocking blue/violet light. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating the efficiency of a sun screen comprises: a step of applying a subject on a sunlight permeable material; a step of irradiating skin cells with the sunlight; and a step of collecting the skin cells and measuring gene expression level in the cells. The sunlight is UV ray with 290-400 nm of wavelength or blue/violet light with 400-500 nm of wavelength. The sunlight permeable material is a quartz plate or band pass filter. The skin cells include keratinocytes, fibroblast, or melanocytes.

PURPOSE: A composition containing apple stem cell extract is provided to enhance the stemness of adipose-derived stem cells and to promote regeneration of the stem cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing the stemness of adipose-derived stem cells contains apple stem cell extract as an active ingredient. The stem cells are human adipose drived stem cells(hADSCs). The composition enhances the expression level of CD29, CD44, CD73, CD90 or CD105. A composition for beauty or plastic surgery contains 0.0001-10 wt% of the apple stem cell extract as an active ingredient.

A method for inhibiting melanosome migration by using prohibitin siRNA(small interference RNA) is provided to inhibit expression of prohibitin in a melanin synthesis cell and uniformed distribution of melanosome in the melanin synthesis cell, so that the skin is whitened. The melanosome migration to the end of melanin synthesis cell is inhibited by administering prohibitin siRNA into the melanin synthesis cell, melan-a, thereby inhibiting binding of prohibitin to melanophilin as a melanosome vehicle and uniformed distribution of melanosome in the melanin synthesis cell.

CONSTITUTION: The screening method of compounds specifically controlling transcriptional expression of CPT-1 gene comprises the steps of: constructing a recombinant plasmid pCPT-1P-luc containing CPT-1 promoter and luciferase; producing a transformant Huh7 cell line(KCLRF-BP-00090) transformed with the recombinant plasmid pCPT-1P-luc; contacting a compound with the transformant Huh7 cell line(KCLRF-BP-00090); quantification of the signal produced by the contact; and comparing the signal amount measured with that of a control.
