Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method different from any of the conventional cutting methods, cutting round pipes and square pipes each having a square or rectangular cross section as well in the wide ranges of their sizes and thickness. SOLUTION: The cutting method constitutes a toggle joint with a pair of sliders moving on a linear track in a same direction and two link arms and provides a rotating blade at a pivot portion of the links, allowing the position of the rotating blade viewed from the center of a workpiece to be freely controlled and moved only by controlling the positions of the pair of sliders moving toward and away from each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming device and a forming method with which, when forming of a round pipe, a square pipe, an opened forming material, required forming is performed without damaging productivity of the conventional roll forming, and with reduced additional deformation strain to be applied to the material to be formed, and a product having high dimensional precision and high quality can be produced. SOLUTION: In the forming device, an endless shoe block train in which many shoe blocks 1s each having a hole die 1a with a revolving curved surface are connected, and the hole dies are continuously made movable on an endless track outwardly, the radius of curvature and length same as those of the required circular arc part of a virtual huge-diameter circle are given to the endless track face in a forming section in contact with the material P to be formed, and thus, when forming, forming as if the huge forming roll is used is substantially achieved. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a ground element for an ATS on an existing tie, and carry out road bed tamping work by means of a multiple tie-tamper. SOLUTION: Holes are bored in the tie, bolts are embedded and fixed, and the ground element T for an ATS is installed by means of a base seat 10 and a cable cover 20 fixed to the bolts. A cable or a cable protective tube K1 is held along a side surface of the tie M. In the base seat 10, a side surface cover part has an inclination of 20deg. or less, and its width size as seen in the direction of a rail R is set to be larger than the width size of the ground element T, and smaller than the width size of the cable cover 20. A side surface protective part 20b of the cable cover 20 is set to have an inclination angle that is almost similar to the inclination of a tamping tool of the multiple tie-tamper, so that a bottom surface edge part of the tie M is positioned to an extended line on the lower end side. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-forming method and a device for it by which the production of many kinds in small quantities of materials having channel section is applied by roll sharing, obtained products are excellent in shape accuracy and dimensional accuracy and excellent products having small residual strain are manufactured even when they are products having various dimensions especially when they are thick products. SOLUTION: The material having the channel section which is excellent in the shape accuracy of the product is provided because the sharing of forming rolls is realized by the simple mechanical mechanism by forming the two corner parts in the cross section of the product in separate stages respectively independently and the strain history to the products is equalized by performing roll-forming of the other corner after making the pass line of a corner part formed previously constant. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for welding a metallic pipe, which can solve problems of a method for welding metallic pipes using a squeeze roll, and can set a so-called V-shape angle in the vicinity of a welding point large, and can accurately constrain and press the cross section of the pipe, and can efficiently manufacture a straight seam welded pipe having high welding quality. SOLUTION: Because the cross section of the pipe is continuously constrained and pressed during welding or just after welding along the longitudinal direction using dies instead of a squeeze roll, effects of variation of welding points, etc., upon welding results are reduced, and the spring-back behavior of the pipe after the welding point can be effectively suppressed, and the percentage of occurrences of welding defects can be remarkably reduced, and the productivity can be improved. Further, the friction between the dies and the pipe can be remarkably reduced by forming surface traveling waves by transferring the vibration to the surface of the dies by applying the ultrasonic vibration to the dies.
