Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling a brushless DC motor for a fuel supply pump are provided to supply a gas fuel to an engine by using the brushless DC motor without a brush and a commutator. CONSTITUTION: A micro computer(31) generates a speed control signal by performing an adaptive proportional integral control operation according to a speed detection signal of a brushless DC motor(20). A PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal generator(32) generates a PWM signal for driving the brushless DC motor(20) according to the speed control signal of the micro computer(31). A drive signal generation portion(33) generates a drive signal for driving the brushless DC motor(20) according to the PWM signal and a speed detection signal of the brushless DC motor(20). An inverter(34) drives the brushless DC motor(20) according to the drive signal generation portion(33). A current limit signal generation portion(35) detects a drive current applied to the brushless DC motor(20) and generates a current limit signal. A power supply portion(36) supplies electric power to the inverter(34) according to the current limit signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel leakage prevention system of an LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) vehicle is provided to prevent fuel leakage from an injector by forcibly returning the remaining fuel in a fuel reversion line, the injector, and a fuel supplying line to a fuel storing tank through a control unit and the reduction of startability by optimally supplying fuel to a starting system according to the elapsed time after stopping an engine. CONSTITUTION: A system for preventing fuel leakage comprises a fuel storing tank(115) storing LPG fuel and having a fuel supplying pump; an injector(120) deciding a fuel injection period by controlling compressed fuel from the fuel supplying pump with a control unit; a fuel supplying line(130) connecting an outlet of the fuel supplying tank and an inlet of the injector and having plural solenoid valves opened and shut by the control of the control unit; a pressure sensor(135) coupling an outlet of the injector and an inlet of the fuel supplying tank, measuring the pressure of supplied fuel, and applying a measured value to the control unit; and a fuel reversion line(145) having a pressure controller controlling the pressure of supplied fuel. In addition, a solenoid valve for a bypass(155) and a driving pump(160) which are opened and closed by the control of the control unit are installed to the bypass line. The solenoid valves and the driving pump forcibly return charged fuel on the line to the fuel storing tank in stopping the engine.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A gas fuel vehicle is provided to prevent leak of fuel from an injector by supplying residual fuel to an oil tank directly in stopping an engine, to improve start ability of the engine, and to reduce exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A gas fuel vehicle has a fuel supply line in which liquid gas fuel stored in a fuel tank(30) is pressurized by a fuel pump(32) and a regulator unit(20), supplied to an injector(11) of an engine(10) through a supply pipe(40), and burned. Non-burnt fuel re-flows in the fuel tank through a return pipe(50), passing through a pressure regulator(22) of the regulator unit and a return valve(51). The gas fuel vehicle includes a bypass pipe(100) communicated with the return pipe, bypassing the pressure regulator; a bypass valve(200) disposed on a side of the outer peripheral surface of the bypass pipe and controlled by an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,70); and a check valve(300) disposed on the bypass pipe to be separated from the bypass valve. The bypass valve opens a passage of the bypass pipe just when the engine stops. The check valve prevents countercurrent of fuel coming in the fuel tank.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A brushless DC(Direct Current) motor is provided to reduce a cogging torque and improve an initial starting performance by arraying an interval between a horizontal junction width and a vertical junction width, asymmetrically. CONSTITUTION: A brushless DC motor is formed with four separative C type permanent magnets(2), a rotator(5), a stator core(1), and a yoke(4). The C type permanent magnets(2) are loaded on the rotator(5). The stator core(1) is formed by combining 9 slots(6). A coil(3) is wound around the stator core(1). The C type permanent magnets(2) are covered by the yoke(4). A horizontal junction width and a vertical junction width of the separative C typed permanent magnet(2) is asymmetrically arrayed among the separative C type permanent magnets(2) and the slots(6) of the stator core(1) in order to reduce a cogging torque generated from a magnetic unbalance.
