Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring orientation of a welding gun is provided to exactly and quickly measure the orientation between the welding gun and an object by including a distance measuring sensor and a controller. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring orientation between a welding gun(104) and an object(105) in order to weld a working member includes a distance measuring sensor and a controller. The distance measuring sensor measures a distance to a surface of the object to be welded from at least three points. The controller determines an orientation state to the surface of the object to be welded from at least three points of the welding gun measured in the distance measuring sensor. The apparatus for measuring orientation of the welding gun(104) further includes an attachable jig(201). At least one distance measuring sensor is attached to the jig(201). The jig(201) is rotatably installed with respect to a vertical shaft of the welding gun(104).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a position of a laser head of a laser welder is provided to maintain an optimum welding distance between a welding object and the laser welder by detecting the position of the laser head. CONSTITUTION: A position measurement apparatus for a laser head of a laser welder includes a body and a robot controller. The body includes the laser head, a connection unit(120), an angle measurement sensor(130), a distance measurement sensor(140), a reference plane(150), a probe(160), a ball(170), a contact detection sensor(180), and a spring(190). The connection unit(120) has a tap having a screw-coupling structure. The angle measurement sensor(130) detects an angle of the laser head. The contact detection sensor(180) detects whether the probe(160) makes contact with a welding object.
