PURPOSE: A sustained release therapeutic agent for treating disk diseases containing biodegradable polymer nanoparticles and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to selectively remove painful nerve of dorsal root ganglia. CONSTITUTION: A sustained release therapeutic agent for treating disk diseases contains biodegradable polymer nanoparticles. The biodegradable nanoparticles are polylactic acid(PLLA), polylactic-glycolic copolymer(PLGA) polycarpropactan(PCL), polyglycolic acid(PGA), polylactic-caprolactan copolymer(PLCL) or polyglycolic-caprolactan copolymer(PGCL). The therapeutic agent further contains fibrin. A method for manufacturing the therapeutic agent comprises: a step of mixing a first solution containing biodegradable polymers, capsaicin and organic solvent and a second solution containing PVA(polyvinyl alcohol) and soluble solvent; a step of treating by ultrasonication to form oil-in-water emulsion; and a step of removing the organic solvent from the emulsion.

PURPOSE: A needle for the backbone rearward nerve blocking is provided to form an inclined surface between a lead hole and a penetration unit of an outer needle in an arc, thereby minimizing the resistance of withdraws of an inner needle by minimizing the contact with the inner needle. CONSTITUTION: An inner needle(200) is withdrawn by being inserted to a penetration unit(110) of an outer needle. A lead hole(120) is formed in the end of the penetration unit. An inclined surface(130) which is inclined to the lead hole is formed between the lead hole and penetration unit. The inclined surface is formed in the arc and minimizes the contact with the inner needle. In the outer needle, a sleeve(140) is equipped. In the inner needle, a plunger(220) which is inserted into the sleeve is equipped.

PURPOSE: An air electrode for a metal-air secondary battery is provided to realize oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution as a catalyst and to enable reversible charging/discharging. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an air electrode for a metal-air secondary battery comprises the steps of: wet injecting La(NO3)36H2O into a platinum-loaded gas diffusion electrode; drying the gas diffusion electrode to which lanthanum(La) is injected in a vacuum atmosphere; and drying the gas diffusion electrode at 200-250 °C for 3 hours in an atmospheric condition.

PURPOSE: A microwave electrode apparatus is provided, which enables to make high frequency accurately reach the body tissue in which the surgical operation is required. CONSTITUTION: A microwave electrode apparatus includes a first tube, a first electrode pair, a first steel wire, and a second steel wire. The first tube(110) is connected to a manipulator and has the length that can be inserted into the body structure. The high frequency is applied to the first electrode pair(120) which is formed in the first side end of the first tube. The first and second steel wires are connected to the manipulator through the first electrode pair and the first tube.
Abstract:
A radio frequency ablation electrode for selected tissue removal is provided to easily cut through obstructed hard fiber to easily perform an operation for a patient long troubled with disc herniation. A radio frequency ablation electrode(100) for selected tissue removal includes a first electrode(110), a second electrode(120), a first electrode tip(112), and a second electrode tip(122). The first and second electrodes are inserted into a tissue. The first electrode tip is formed on an end of the first electrode and the second electrode tip is formed on an end of the second electrode. The first and second electrode tips are spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval. A coil spring is connected to end portions of the first and second electrode. The coil spring has an end portion in a bent shape in a free state. The coil spring is transformed by pulling at least one of the first and second electrodes.
