Abstract: PURPOSE: An airbag assembly for a driver seat is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and simplify structure by omitting a double injection process and composing a remote controller switch unit of two separable members. CONSTITUTION: An airbag assembly(10) for a driver seat comprises an airbag cover(20), a cushion module(50), a mounting plate(40), and a remote controller switch unit(30). The cushion module is disposed behind the airbag cover. The mounting plate supports the backend of the cushion module. A wing portion(41) of the mounting plate is laterally expanded. The remote controller switch unit comprises a main body(31) and a sub-body(32). The switch of a main body is exposed to the outside of the airbag cover. The sub body is fixed between the main body and the mounting plate. The sub body is slid in the lateral direction and is separated from fixed location.

Abstract: A brake pedal assembly of a vehicle is provided to prevent an operation lever from being drawn to a driver by a push rod when in a head-on collision by allowing double tubes of the push rod to be slid each other. In a brake pedal assembly of a vehicle, a push rod unit comprises a first push rod(21), a second push rod(23), a link bar(25), and a cam block(27). The first push rod has a pin groove(31) at two sides of an end, and of which one end is linked to a booster. The second push rod is connected to one part of an operation rod through a hinge bracket(33). An end of the first push rod is fitted to a hollow inner part of the second push rod. A center of the link bar is hinged to two sides of a front end of the second push rod through the hinge bracket. A spring(35) is interposed between a rear part of the link bar and the second push rod. The link bar has an assembling pin(37) at a front end. The assembling pin is assembled to the pin groove of the push rod by force of the spring. The cam block is placed at two side surfaces of a through hole(41) of a dash panel(5) and mated to a rear end of the link bars, and spreads a front end of link bars through an inclination surface(39).

Abstract: A steering column mounting structure is provided to continuously absorb an impact by tearing a steering column and a mounting portion of a cowl cross bar when an impact is applied to the steering wheel. A steering column mounting structure includes an external pipe(31), an internal pipe(33), and a mounting bracket. One side of the external pipe is connected to a handle of the vehicle to absorb an impact. One side of the external pipe is fixed to the internal pipe and the other side thereof is connected to a gear box. The mounting bracket fixes the internal pipe and the external pipe to a cowl cross bar.
