PURPOSE: A drying method of mulberry by pre-cooling is provided to enable users to produce a dried mulberry product after harvesting the mulberry. CONSTITUTION: A drying method of mulberry comprises the following steps: pre-cooling the harvested mulberry for 3 hours at 3-4 deg C; firstly drying the pre-cooled mulberry for 3 hours at 10 deg C by blowing air; and secondly drying the mulberry for 54-56 hours at 55 deg C for making snacks, for 68-70 hours at 50 deg C for making salad, and for 84-86 hours at 45 deg C for making bread.

PURPOSE: A composition containing a Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc. root extract is provided to significantly treat osteoarthritis and to be used as an agent for preventing and treating osteoarthritis or as a health food for treating osteoarthritis. CONSTITUTION: A therapeutic agent for treating osteoarthritis contains effective amount of natural pigments of Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc. roots. The natural pigment is a shikonin derivative, acetyl shikonin. An agent for preventing osteoarthritis contains effective amount of the natural pigments. A method for preparing a Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc. root extract for preventing and treating osteoarthritis comprises the steps of extracting Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc. roots with a non-polar solvent and obtaining the natural pigments. A method for preparing a Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc. root extract for preventing and treating osteoarthritis comprises the step of extracting the natural pigments by supercritical extraction. PURPOSE: Salad dressing using fruits of medical plants, and a producing method thereof are provided to offer the effect of lowering the blood sugar cholesterol of eaters. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of salad dressing using fruits of medical plants comprises the following steps: mixing a dressing base and a yam physical property improver in a weight ratio of 4:1-2; and mixing 25-65wt% of mixture, 10-35wt% of mulberry pulp, and 30-50wt% of Schisandra chinensis syrup. The Schisandra chinensis syrup is obtained by mixing Schisandra chinensis and sugar in a weight ratio of 1:0.8-1.2, and aging the mixture for 30 days before filtering. The dressing base contains 100 parts of plain yogurt by weight and 5-25 parts of mayonnaise or fresh cream by weight.
