PURPOSE: An injection method of cordyceps spawns to silkworm pupae, and a cultivation method of cordyceps using the same are provided to improve the productivity of the cordyceps. CONSTITUTION: An injection method of cordyceps spawns to silkworm pupae comprises the following steps: storing cordyceps liquid spawns in a container; inserting silkworm pupae into the cordyceps liquid spawns, and soaking for 0.5-3 minutes; and sealing the container, and impregnating the cordyceps liquid spawns into the silkworm pupae with the pressure of 0.5 ~ 2kg per square centimeter.

PURPOSE: A composition containing insect glycosaminoglycan is provided to prevent or treat fatty liver or hyperlipidemia. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating fatty liver contains insect-derived glycosaminoglycan as an active ingredient. The insect is selected from the group consisting of silkworm, Gymnopleurus mopsus, Paecilomyces sinclairii, Velarifictorus asperses, Bombus ignites, Bomyx mori, Poecilocoris lewisi, and Protaetis brevitarsis. The fatty liver is alcoholic or non-alcoholic fatty liver. A composition for preventing and treating hyperlipidemia contains insect-derived glycosaminoglycan as an active ingredient. The compositions contain an insect extract as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: A method for culturing Isaria sinclairii is provided by inoculating Isaria sinclairii to the pupa or larva of a domestic silkworm, thereby mass producing Isaria sinclairii . CONSTITUTION: The method for culturing Isaria sinclairii using a domestic silkworm comprises the steps of: inoculating spores of Isaria sinclairii to the larva or pupa of a domestic silkworm by spraying the spores on the surface of the larva or the pupa; and forming a fruit body of Isaria sinclairii from the infected pupa, wherein the inoculation process is carried out by diluting the spores of Isaria sinclairii in water in the concentration of 106/ml to 108/ml, spraying the diluted solution on the surfaces of the larvae or pupae of the domestic silkworms aged 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks and 5 weeks, and leaving them under 95% of humidity for 12 hours; the larvae or pupae of the domestic silkworms are stored at 20 deg. C or less prior to the inoculation; and the fruit body formation process is carried out under conditions of 15 to 25 deg. C and humidity of 95%.

CONSTITUTION: The 3-(5-(methoxy-ethyl)-3,6-dioxo-piperazine-2-yl)-propionic acid of the formula(1) is manufactured by the steps of: extracting Cordyceps militaris powders with water; performing HPLC with the extract using distilled water; isolating the distilled water fraction by HPLC using methanol; and isolating the methanol fraction by activated carbon chromatography to obtain J300 Cordyceps militaris water extract Dong1-2-4 having anti-HIV activity.
