    Abstract: A transformation method of soy bean is provided to produce the transgenic plant regardless of bean species and germination period, simplify the transformation process and save the expense. A method for transforming a soybean comprises: a step of culturing an agrobacterium which an expression vector containing a foreign target gene and marker gene for transforming the soybean is introduced and preparing suspension; a step of inoculating the suspension into embryo axis cross section of the soybean germination seed and co-culturing; a step of inducing transformed shoot in the co-cultured embryo axis cross section and selecting; a step of extending the selected shoot; and a step of inducing and purifying a root from the extended shoot.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for producing germinated soybeans transformed using a recombinant expression vector is provided to enable tocotrienol synthesis and to enhance vitamin E content. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing germinated soybeans with enhanced tocotrienol and vitamin E content comprises: a step of transforming a recombinant vector containing a promoter and a polynucleotide of sequence number 1 into soybeans and germinating the transformed soybeans for 20-35°C for 1-7 days. The promoter is a beta-conglycine, vicilin, globulin, cauliflower mosaic virus(CaMY) 35S promoter, figwort mosaic virus 35S promoter, sugarcane bacilliform virus promoter, Commelina yellow mottle vitus promoter, light-inducible prooter from ribulose-1,5-bis-phosphate carboxylase subunit(ssRUBISCO), adenine phosphoribosyltransferase(APRT) promoter from Arabidopsis, rice actin 1 gene promoter, or mannopine syntase and octopine syntase prmoter.

CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector for tocotrienol biosynthesis contains a promoter and a polynucleotide of sequence number 1 which is operatively linked to the promoter. The vector is pMJC-GGB-HGGT or pMJ-35S-HGGT. The recombinant vector prepares a transformed cell. The transformed cells are Agrobacterium tumefacience or Agrobacterium rhizogenes. A transgenic plant cell is prepared by introducing the recombinant vector and produces vitamin E of high concentration.
