Abstract: A key inputting device for a sliding/rotating type portable terminal is provided to enhance a key inputting speed by forming a channel changeover key and a volume control key which get exposed according as they slide from a main body housing and then rotate. A key inputting device for a sliding/rotating type portable terminal comprises the first and the second key inputting device(21,22). The first key inputting device(21) is installed at a main body housing(20) such that it can be visually exposed according as a sliding/rotating housing(30) slides. The second key inputting device(22) is installed near the first key inputting device(21) such that it can hide or be visually exposed according as the sliding/rotating housing(30) rotates.
