    Abstract: A portable terminal having a variable grounding device is provided to realize an optimal correspondent grounding area according to a mode change and an opening/closing state of the terminal, thereby reducing an SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) as contributing to improvement of radiation performance of an antenna device. A main board(10) has a grounding unit of certain size. At least one antenna radiator is fed to the main board.
