Abstract: PURPOSE: A yellow dust detection method using a wavelength signal ratio and a depolarization ratio of a light detection and ranging unit is provided to calculate the wavelength signal ratio and the depolarization ratio without reanalyzing a light detection and ranging measurement result acquired from a measurement step. CONSTITUTION: A light detection and ranging(LIDAR) unit vertically emits laser beams of wavelength 1064nm and 532nm to the atmosphere in order to measure laser beam return time and strength of back scattered light collected by a receiver(S10). A wavelength signal ratio and a depolarization ratio are calculated using the laser beam return time and the strength of the back scattered light(S20). A generation state, a distribution altitude, and strength of yellow dust are received by analyzing the wavelength signal ratio and depolarization ratio(S50).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A multifunctional sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to sense the external environment changes of pressure and temperature. CONSTITUTION: Conductive particles(120) are dispersed in the polymer substrate for a multifunctional sensor(100) and a groove(130) is formed on one side of the polymer substrate. First electrodes(140A,140B) are arranged on one side of the polymer substrate at intervals. Second electrodes(150) are arranged on the other side of the polymer substrate at intervals. Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for reading yellow-dust using light detection and ranging(LIDAR) is provided to obtain accurate the vertical distribution of the yellow-dust by calculating the ratio of extinction coefficient and back scattering coefficient based on the comparison result of the optical thickness of aerosol. CONSTITUTION: Laser ray vertically radiates toward atmosphere through LIDAR. The intensity of back scattering light which is collected in the receiver of the LIDAR and the light returning time of the laser ray are measured. Based on the measurement result, aerosol extinction coefficient and depolarization ratio are calculated. The generation of yellow-dust and the distribution altitude of the yellow-dust are read through the calculated aerosol extinction coefficient and the depolarization ratio.
