Abstract: An antihypertensive composition is provided to secure an effect of hypertension suppression by blocking a process of an Angiotensin I-Converting Enzyme becoming an Angiotensin II. An antihypertensive composition comprises styela clava extract. The styela clava extract is extracted by water or an organic solvent such as a 70% ethanol. The styela clava extract is extracted at a temperature of 20°C or 70°C. A method for preparing the styela clava extract is composed of the following steps of: washing the styela clava; freeze-drying the styela clava; and pulverizing the styela clava to obtain powder type extract.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A coating agent composition for extruded pellets is provided to reduce a death rate of fish by improving immunity and increasing weight of the fish, and to prevent loss of nutrients by including chitosan, yroligneous liquid and proteolytic enzyme. CONSTITUTION: A coating agent composition for extruded pellets includes 0.5 ~ 3 g of chitosan, 1 ~ 5ml of pyroligneous liquor and 0.1 ~ 1 g of proteolytic enzyme. The degree of deacetylation of the chitosan is 90 ~ 99%. The viscosity of the chitosan is 15 ~ 150cps. The 5 ~ 10 weight% of the coating agent is applied on 100 parts of the extruded pellets by weight. The extruded pellets include vitamins or glutathione.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing gelatin from flatfish(Paralichthys olivaceus) skin is provided to obtain gelatin with excellent physical properties such as high gel strength. Flatfish skin is alkali treated with 0.22 to 1.78mol calcium hydroxide for 2 to 3hr, washed, acid treated with 0.10 to 0.98mol acetic acid for 2 to 3hr, washed and extracted with water at 40 to 80deg.C for 2 to 3hr to give gelatin. After the extraction process, the flatfish extract is subjected to filtering containing activated carbon treatment. The gelatin has a gel strength of 360g.cm or more using a plunger with a diameter of 10mm and a descent rate of 60mm/min at 5deg.C after 3.3% gelatin solution is gelled in a 100ml beaker. The gelatin also has a viscosity of 12.0cP or more and a melting point of 20.0deg.C or more.
