Abstract: PURPOSE: A blob sensing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to acquire information about blob near to a camera, by generating disparity map in an image inputted from a stereo camera, and masking a meaningful part through a threshold, and sensing the blob. Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle control system and a control method thereof are provided to control applications according to outside conditions of the vehicle, thereby accurately controlling the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle control system includes an outside information collecting unit, an information analyzing unit, a risk degree determining unit, and an application control unit. The outside information collecting unit receives outside information collected from the outside. The information analyzing unit analyzes the outside information, transforms the outside information into a predetermined information type and outputs analysis information. The risk degree determining unit determines a risk degree about a vehicle based on the analysis information. A control signal is generated to control applications for more than one device in the vehicle. The application control unit controls the device using the control signal. The vehicle control method includes following steps: In a (i) step, the analysis information is generated by analyzing the outside information inputted from the outside. In a (ii) step, the risk degree about the vehicle is determined based on generated analyzed information. In a (iii) step, based on a determined risk degree and a minimum safety index which is previously stored according to each of the applications, a control signal to control the applications for more than one device in the vehicle is generated to request the control of the device. In a (iv) step, management information is outputted based on information received from the device.
