Abstract: A display panel using a paper substrate and a fabrication method thereof are provided to use a thin and flexible paper as a substrate, while forming protection films on a surface of the paper substrate, thereby more variously transforming a panel type and preventing the life and luminous efficiency of an organic EL display panel from deteriorating. The first protection film(21a) and the second protection film(21b) are formed on an upper side and a lower side of a paper substrate(20), respectively. An anode electrode(22) is repeatedly formed in stripe type at certain intervals on an upper side of the first protection film(21a). Insulating films(23) deposit insulating substances in an upper part including the anode electrode(22) and the first protection film(21a), and expose a portion of the anode electrode(22) by forming contact holes in every unit pixel area. Separable partition walls(24) are repeatedly patterned at certain intervals on top of the insulating films(23) in a direction that crosses the anode electrode(22) at a right angle. Luminous layers(25) are formed in an upper part including the exposed anode electrode(22), the insulating films(23), and the partition walls(24). Cathode electrodes(26) are formed by depositing and patterning metal on the luminous layers(25). The third protection film(27) caps an entire element.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an MIM(Metal Insulator Metal) device of a liquid crystal display is provided to form upper and lower electrodes of the same metal material to reduce stress applied to a ductile plastic substrate and prevent deformation of the plastic substrate and cracking of the lower electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lower electrode(102) is formed of a ductile metal on a transparent substrate(100).
