Abstract: PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition using microparticle is provided, to lower the gloss with suppressing the deterioration of the mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 10-50 parts by weight of the graft copolymer resin prepared by copolymerizing 10-30 parts by weight of a cyano vinyl compound and 70-90 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound to 30-60 parts by weight of a rubbery polymer; 40-80 parts by weight of the copolymer consisting of 20-40 wt% of a cyano vinyl compound and 60-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound; and 1-50 parts by weight of a crosslinkable organic microparticle. Preferably the crosslinkable organic microparticle is prepared by dispersing a polymer organic dispersant aqueous solution and a solution containing a crosslinkable monomer, an initiator and a polymerizable monomer to a drop of 0.1-3.0 micrometers and polymerizing it at a temperature of 50-80 deg.C, and has a particle size of 1-20 micrometers.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a monodisperse functional particle is provided, to obtain a polymer composite particle having various particle structures by controlling the morphology of monodisperse polymer particles. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dissolving a monomer, an oil-soluble and a stabilizer in an alcohol and dispersion polymerizing it to prepare a seed particle; re-dispersing the seed particle in the aqueous phase where an emulsifier is dissolved, introducing a swelling agent into the seed dispersed one to swell it, and introducing the monomer where an initiator is dissolved into the seed dispersed one to swell it; and stabilizing the swollen polymer particle by using a dispersion stabilizer and polymerizing the stabilized one. Preferably a crosslinking agent is added in the first step, and the crosslinking agent is a polydimethylsiloxane-based one represented by the formula 1 or 2 (wherein R' is H or CH3 and n is an integer of 5-600); vinyl-terminated or acrylate-terminated polyoxyethylene glycol-based one, polyoxypropylene glycol-based one, or polytetramethylene glycol-based one having a molecular weight of about 500-10,000; or a reactive crosslinking agent selected from epoxy acrylate and urethane acrylate.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An encapsulation method of inorganic particles with organic polymer material is provided, in which anionic emulsifier is used in case that the surface of inorganic particles are charged to positive, and vice versa. CONSTITUTION: The encapsulation method comprises: dissolving completely 0.05-5 wt.% of anionic emulsifier or 2-10 wt.% of cationic emulsifier into the water with controlled hydrogen concentration, keeping the concentration of the emulsifier under critical micelle concentration; absorbing the emulsifier on the surface of 50-1,000 wt.% of the inorganic particles in a reactor by stirring for 0.5-3 hours; and adding 100 wt.% of the vinyl monomers such as styrene or acrylate, raising the temperature up to 70°C and adding 0.3-1.5 wt.% of reaction initiator to emulsion polymerize for encapsulation and to obtain 95% of yield.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a surface-functionalized monodisperse polymer particle and a surface-functionalized monodisperse polymer particle prepared by the method are provided, to obtain the monodisperse polymer particle which is very stable to the chemical environment and has a uniform shell thickness.
