PURPOSE: A plastic glazing is provided to have an excellent coating layer, interface adhesion, solvent resistance, reliability, impact strength, elongation, scratch resistance, and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A plastic glazing (100) is formed on a base material layer (10) and a coating layer formed on one side of the base material layer and comprises biphenyl group - containing polycarbonate. The biphenyl group is contained as the amount of 10-50 mol% among the whole polycarbonate. A manufacturing method of the plastic glazing comprises: a step for forming the base material layer by molding resin which includes the biphenyl group - containing polycarbonate; a step for forming a primer layer (21) on the surface of the base material layer; and a step for forming a hard coating layer (22) on the surface of the primer layer.

PURPOSE: A polycarbonate-based resin composition is provided to have excellent flame retardance, low temperature impact performance, and chemical resistance without degradation of impact properties. CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate-based resin composition comprises polycarbonate; biphenyl group-containing carbonate; rubber-modified aromatic vinyl-based graft copolymer; and aromatic phosphorous ester compound. The polycarbonate-based resin composition comprises 0.1-30 parts by weight of the aromatic phosphorous ester compound, based on 100.0 parts by weight of a base resin. The base resin comprises 60-90 wt% of the polycarbonate; 1-25 wt% of the biphenyl group-containing carbonate; and 5-20 wt% of the rubber-modified aromatic vinyl-based graft copolymer. The weight ratio of the polycarbonate and the biphenyl group-containing carbonate is 3:1-20:1. The rubber-modified aromatic vinyl-based graft copolymer is a copolymer polymerized of a rubber polymer, aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and vinyl monomer.

PURPOSE: A polycarbonate is provided to have excellent chemical resistance, flowability, transparency, room temperature impact strength, and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate comprises compounds represented by chemical formula 1, 2, and 3 as a repeating unit. In the chemical formulas, each of R1 and R2 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C3-C6 cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6-12 aryl group, or a halogen atom; Q is a ring or an unsubstituted C5-C10 cycloalkyl group; and a and b are integers from 0-4. The molar ratio of the polycarbonate is M1:M2:M3=30-90mol%:5-30mol%:5-40mol%.

PURPOSE: A polycarbonate resin is provided to improve thermal stability and color stability at high temperature as well as ensuring excellent hydrolysis resistance and to enable the application to molding products with much moisture contact. CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate resin in which the concentration of a terminal hydroxyl group is 0.01-15 % is prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture including an aromatic dihydroxy compound and diarylcarbonate. The monomer mixture does not include an end terminator or includes 0-0.001 weight% of the end terminator. The diarylcarbonate is included in the range of 1.18-1.32 mole per 1 mole of the aromatic dihydroxy compound.

PURPOSE: A flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition is provided to prevent the decomposition of flame retardants and to improve thermal stability of the flame retardant by simultaneously adding sulfonic acids and flame retardants in a post-processing step. CONSTITUTION: A flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition comprises sulfonic acid ester represented by chemical formula 1 and halogen-based flame retardants. In chemical formula 1, R1 is a C1~20 hydrocarbon group or halogen-based C1~20 hydrocarbon group; R2 is a C12~20 hydrocarbon group or halogen-based C12~20 hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 0~5.

PURPOSE: A branching agent, a producing method thereof, and a branched polycarbonate using thereof are provided to apply the agent for a melt-polymerization process for the branched polycarbonate and to improve the molecular weight of the branched polycarbonate. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a branching agent for a branched polycarbonate marked with chemical formula 1 comprises a step of SN2 reacting compounds marked with chemical formula 4, and chemical formula 5. In chemical formula 4, R1 refers to a linear or branched alkyl group of C1~C30, an alkoxy group, an aryl group of C6~C30, an aralkyl group, and an alkyl-substituted aryl group of C6~C30. L is a nucleophile selected from a hydroxyl group, an amine group, and a sulfone group. In chemical formula 4, R2 is the linear or branched alkyl group of C1~C30, the alkoxy group, the aryl group of C6~C30, or the alkyl-substituted aryl group of C6~C30.
