The present invention relates to a composite sheet which comprises a matrix and a reinforcement impregnated in the matrix, wherein the matrix comprises a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer, and the refractive index difference between the matrix and the reinforcement is less than 0.01, and to a display device comprising the composite sheet.

Polysiloxane of the present invention is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, each of R1 and R2 is independently a C1-C10 alkyl group, C6-C18 aryl group, or halogen or alkoxy-containing C1-C10 alkyl group or C6-C18 aryl group; each of A and B is independently substituted or unsubstituted C2-C20 hydrocarbon group, or -O- or -S- containing substituted or unsubstituted C2-C20 hydrocarbon group; Z is substituted or unsubstituted C1-C24 hydrocarbon group or substituted or unsubstituted C1-C24 hydrocarbon group containing ester bond, urethane bond, or a combination thereof; Y is independently hydrogen atom, halogen, C1-C18 halogenated alkyl group, cyano group (-CN), or ester group; and each of m and n is independently an integer from 4 to 100. The polysiloxane uses an end group with reduced electron density, thereby improving low temperature impact strength and yellowness index.

The present invention relates to a novel polysiloxane with improved mobility and workability by applying an aliphatic hydrocarbon group to a terminal end, to a manufacturing method thereof. and to a polycarbonate-polysiloxane copolymer including the same. The polysiloxane is indicated as chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R_1 and R_2 are a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group of C1-C18 or a substituted or non-substituted aryl group of C6-C18, respectively. X is a substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon group of C2-C20 or a substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon group of C2-C20 including -O- or -S- (A hydrocarbon group connected to Y is an aliphatic family or an alicyclic family), respectively. Y is a hydroxyl group, an amine group or an epoxy group, respectively. Z is a substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon group of C1-C20, an ester bond, an urethane bond, -O-, -S-, -SO_2-, -CO-, -NR- (Here, R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of C1-C18 or an aryl group of C6-C18) or a substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon group including the combination thereof of C1-C20. The invention relates to a method for preparing polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer, and to manufacture of polysilxane having aromatic hydroxy compounds for both ends, using Lewis acid boron compounds as a catalysta, and to a preparing method of polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer with an in-situ process without a separating process of the boron compound.

PURPOSE: Polycarbonate-polysiloxane copolymer is provided to give excellent low temperature impact strength with maintenance of high transparency and low haze, and to have an excellent physical property balance with high reaction participating rate. CONSTITUTION: Polycarbonate-polysiloxane copolymer contains polysiloxane unit represented by chemical formula 1 shown below. In chemical formula 1, R^1, R^2, R^3, and R^4 are independently substituted or non-substituted C1-C10 alkyl group, substituted or non-substituted C6-C18 aryl group, C1-C10 alkyl group substituted with halogen or C1-C10 alkoxyl group, and C6-C18 aryl group substituted with halogen or C1-C10 alkoxy group, respectively. R^5 and R^6 are C3-C8 alkylene group, respectively. The n is an integer of 20-100.

A polycarbonate-polysiloxane copolymer of the present invention is characterized by being obtained from an aromatic dihydroxy compound including dimethyl bisphenol A (DMBPA), a carbonate precursor and polysiloxane represented by chemical formula 1 of claim 1. The polycarbonate-polysiloxane copolymer improves scratch resistance and yellowness index by introducing the polysiloxane of a specific structure and aromatic dihydroxy compounds.
