본 발명은 상기한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 꾸지뽕으로부터 주요 프레닐레이티드 플라보노이드를 분리하는 방법으로서, 원심분리 분배 크로마토그래피( centrifugal partition chromatography)를 사용하여 적은양의 용매와 보다 적은 노동력으로 꾸지뽕으로부터 주요 프레닐레이티드 플라보노이드를 분리하는 방법을 제공한다. CPC는 분리하고자 하는 물질이 다양한 용매의 조성으로 이루어진 섞이지 않는 두층의 용매에 대한 친화력을 이용하여 물질을 분리하는 방법으로, 물질을 분리하는데 있어 고체의 고정상을 사용하지 않기 때문에 시료의 손실이 없고, 고가의 용매를 다량사용하지 않아도 되기 때문에 경제적이다. 따라서, 본 발명은 꾸지뽕의 주요 물질인 6,8-디프레닐오로볼(6,8-diprenylorobol), 6,8-디프레닐게니스테인(6,8-diprenylgenistein) 또는 4´- O -메틸알피눔이소플라본(4´- O -methylalpinumisoflavone)와 같은 프레닐레이티드 플라보노이드의 대량생산을 가능하게 하여, 식품분야, 의학분야, 산업분야에서의 활용 가능성을 넓힐 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A Crepidiastrum denticulatum extract is provided to protect degeneration of retinal neuronal cells induced by oxidative stress and to be used as a therapeutic agent, a functional food, and a pharmaceutical material for retinal diseases. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating retinal diseases contains a Crepidiastrum denticulatum extract. The retinal diseases include age-related macular degeneration. The extract is prepared using water, C1-C4 alcohol, acetone, or a mixture solvent thereof.

A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating diabetic complications or obesity comprises an extract of Sophora flavascens or 5-methylsophoraflavanone B isolated therefrom and represented by a formula(1) as an effective ingredient, wherein the extract of Sophora flavascens or the 5-methylsophoraflavanone B is prepared by extracting dried materials of Sophora flavascens roots with C1-4 alcohol to obtain the extract of Sophora flavascens, subjecting the extract to high speed liquid chromatography to isolate the 5-methylsophoraflavanone B and purifying the isolated 5-methylsophoraflavanone B.
