Hosta
capitata ) 추출물 또는 이의 분획물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 일월비비추 추출물 또는 이의 분획물을 피부표면 세균 및 진균, 식품의 부패와 식중독을 일으키는 원인균 및 필터에 서식하는 부유성 진균에 대해서 생육을 저지시키고, 상기의 세균 및 진균세포를 파괴하며, 진균의 균사체 형성을 저해하며, 또한 세포의 주기를 G2/M기에서 정지시키고 세포사멸을 유도함으로써 탁월한 항균 및 항진균 활성을 가지고 있으며, 또한 식용으로 사용되는 산채류에서 추출한 조성물을 원료로 하고 있어 인체에 안전하기 때문에 본 발명의 항균 및 항진균 활성을 갖는 일월비비추 추출물, 이의 분획물 또는 이를 포함하는 조성물은 각종 용도의 항균 및 항진균용 조성물뿐만 아니라 공기 청정용품 및 에어컨의 필터 등 천연 항균제로서 부작용없이 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition containing Hosta capitata extract or fraction thereof is provided to suppress growth of fungi and to ensure excellent antibacterial and antifungal activity. CONSTITUTION: An anti-fungal and antibacterial pharmaceutical composition for Hosta capitata extract as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of C1-C4, or mixture thereof. An antifungal and antibacterial composition contains organic solvent fraction prepared by isolating the extract with organic solvent. The bacteria include C. albicans, S. cerevisiae, E. coli, B. subtilis, Propionibacterium acnes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton ruburm, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermis, Pityrosporum ovale, candida albicans, or Trichomonas Vaginalis.
