    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for separation membrane of asymmetric polyimide is provided, which can increase productivity by rapid soaking polyamic acid solution into non-solvent and also can selectively decide the structure of separation membrane by controlling imidification rate. The manufactured separation membrane is excellent in resistance to solvent and can be used at the temperature that is over the limit temperature of general membrane separation process. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method is as follows: (i) prepare separation membrane by heating for partial imidification before impregnating polyamic acid of 15-20 wt.% into non-solvent of water or low-grade alcohol for phase separation; and (ii) imidify at a high temperature to prepare polyamide separation membrane.
