PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food containing taro extract for enhancing immune system are provided to be used as a therapeutic agent for anticancer and anti-metastasis. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immune system contains polymer saccharides of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. A health functional food for enhancing immune system contains the polymer saccharides as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for anti-metastasis contains the polymer polysaccharides of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for enhancing immune system contains taro exract as an active ingredient. The taro extract contains galactose and mannose. A health functional food for enhancing immune system contains the taro extract as an active ingredient.

본 발명은 면역 증강 활성 및 항종양 활성이 있는 감잎 유래 다당 분획물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더 상세하게는전체 다당 분획물 대비 중성 다당(neutral sugar)은 60 내지 80 중량%, 우론산(uronic acid)은 18 내지 39 중량%, KDO(3-deoxy-D-manno-2- octulosonic acid) 유사 물질은 0.5 내지 10 중량% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 감잎 유래 다당 분획물인 것을 특징으로 하는 감잎 유래 다당 분획물, 이의 제조방법 및 이의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 감잎 유래 다당 분획물은 인터루킨-6, 12 및 TNF-α의 생성을 촉진하여 면역 기능을 증진시키고, 대식세포에 대해 뚜렷한 독성이 없으며, 자연살해세포의 활성을 증가시키며, 암세포의 전이를 억제하는 효능을 나타내는 바, 면역 증강용 또는 암 개선용 식품용 조성물, 면역력 저하로 인한 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물 및 암 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물의 제조에 효과적이다.

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and health functional food comprising taro extract as an active ingredient, and the pharmaceutical composition and health functional food comprising taro extract by the present invention can be used as an anticancer medicine and an anti-metastasis treating agent by having an anti-complement activity function, a macrophage or a natural killer cell activity funftion, and thereby activating immune system and having effectively reduing spread of cancel cell.

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a citrus peel originated polysaccharide fraction is provided to improve an immune function of strengthening the activity of a complement system to the citrus peel originated polysaccharide fraction. CONSTITUTION: Citrus peel is bleached. The bleached citrus peel is extracted with alcohol with 1-4 carbons. A polysaccharide is precipitated by adding the alcohol with 1-4 carbons to the extract. The precipitated polysaccharide is collected and is treated with a pectin hydrolysis enzyme. A polysaccharide fraction is manufactured by collecting the fractions in the molecular weight of 100-200kDa in the polysaccharide fraction treated with the enzyme. The citrus peel originated polysaccharide fraction has the carbohydrate content consisting of 2-6mole% of rhamnose, 20-25mole% of arabinose, 1-5mole% of mannose, 1-5mole% of xylose, 15-20mole% of glucose, 10-17mole% of galactose, and 40-50mole% of galacturonic acid.
