Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric vehicle charging and discharging system and a method using the contactless power transmission method are provided to minimize power loss by minimize the step of converting the power of charging and discharging system for an electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An electric vehicle charging and discharging system include a fuel cell(102), a solar cell(104), a battery(106), an energy management system(108), a primary contactless power transmission system(110) which are connected in wire or wireless communication system. If the power of the fuel cell and solar cell is less power required for charging the battery of the electric vehicle, the electric vehicle charging and discharging system receives insufficient power from a DC/AC converter. If the power of the fuel cell and solar cell is higher than required power, surplus power is transmitted through the DC/AC converter.
