Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device for interfacing an RNC(Radio Network Controller) of a base station in a wireless communication system is provided to supply a physical communication path between the base station and the RNC, and to transmit control information through an HDLC protocol communication path as a duplexing control channel, thereby supporting multimedia and subscriber roaming services. CONSTITUTION: A router interface module(321) performs a router interface within a base station transceiver(31). An AAL2/5 form conversion module(322) converts AAL2-type ATM traffic into AAL5-type ATM traffic while processing voice and image traffic, and converts the AAL5-type ATM traffic into the AAL2-type ATM traffic, and bypasses the AAL5-type ATM traffic. A line interface module(326) interfaces with an RNC(40). An HDLC module(323) transmits control information to a base station control processor when a failure is generated. A CPU module(324) checks and operates each module state of an RNC interface(32), and switches a channel. An SAR module(325) disassembles and assembles AAL5 frames. A clock module(327) inputs a network synchronous clock, transmits a reference clock to a CKGD(Clock Generation amp; Distribution) unit(33), receives the reference clock, and synchronizes links between the RNC(40) and a base station.

PURPOSE: A signal detection device in a multi input multi output system and a method thereof are provided to effectively reduce error increase effect occurred during a received signal detection process. CONSTITUTION: A detection order determination unit(211) obtains covariance matrix of channel matrix about received signals. The detection order determination unit calculates cofactor determinant of corresponding elements according to each row of the covariance matrix. The detection order determination unit decides the detection order about the received signals. A symbol detection unit(212) detects transmission signals according to the detection order. An interference removing unit(213) removes interference about the detected signals.

A wireless communication method for efficiently managing a bandwidth request of a terminal and an allocation procedure and a system thereof are provided to operate an RS system in two modes in consideration of a case that an MS directly transmits a BR code to an MR-BS, thereby improving system performance while satisfying existing standards. It is monitored whether an uplink map information element corresponding to a BR(Bandwidth Request) code of an MS(Mobile Station) is received from an MR(Mobile Relay)-BS(Base Station)(S402). The RS monitors an uplink burst having a bandwidth that the MS requests is transmitted from the MR-BS based on the uplink map information element. Data that the MS transmits is relayed to a band allocated by the uplink burst from the MR-BS.

An apparatus and a method for computing multiplicative inverses in finite fields are provided to reduce an operation time while using a smaller amount of hardware resources. The first exponentiation operation unit(100a) multiplies exponentiation operation result of the first element about the first exponentiation with exponentiation operation result of the second element about the second exponentiation. The first exponentiation operation unit performs the first exponentiation operation with regard to output multiplication result. The second exponentiation operation unit(100b) exponentiation operation result of the third element about the third exponentiation with exponentiation operation result of the fourth element about the fourth exponentiation. The second exponentiation operation unit performs the second exponentiation operation with regard to output multiplication result. A multiplication operation unit(200a) performs multiply operation about the result of the first and second exponentiation operation units.

본 발명은 MMR(Multihop Mobile Relay) 시스템에서 BS(Base Station)로부터 수신된 방송정보를 일정 주기로 단말로 전송하는 RS(Relay Station) 장치 및 그 전송 방법에 관한 것으로, 자세히는 MMR-BS(Base station)에서 RS로의 셀 초기화 과정을 거쳐 RS에서 주기적으로 셀 내 단말로 방송정보를 송신하게 하는 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
