Abstract:
A flash memory device having a secure file deletion function and a method for securely deleting a flash file are provided to store encoded data and a decoding key in a separate memory block and disable recovery of the encoded data through deletion of the decoding key, thereby guaranteeing quick and secure deletion of a flash file. An end node having the same binary value as LSB(Least Significant Bits) of file ID of a flash file which is a deletion target is searched(S120). A header block indicating the end node is copied to a DRAM(Dynamic Random Access Memory). An object header having the file ID of a deletion target file is set invalid(S140). Effective object headers are stored in the header block(S150). The copied header block is deleted from the DRAM(S160).

A user interfacing apparatus and a method using head gesture are provided to enable a user to use a terminal with one hand without any inconvenience. A learning unit(310) processes a command and grasps a face position for fast recognition. A recognized information management unit(320) stores the information obtained from a learning process. A recognition unit(330) extracts feature information from image data, and recognizes a head gesture based on the recognition information management unit.
Abstract:
Adaptive multimedia system and a method thereof for providing multimedia contents and codec to a user terminal are provided to download codec for decoding to an open codec player according to the presence of multimedia codec of the user terminal and run the multimedia contents. A media server controller(310) receives profile information from the open codec player of a user terminal. When codec for multimedia contents decoding is not in the user terminal, the media server controller transmits a control message so that the codec for multimedia contents and the decoding codec are together transmitted. According to the control message received from the media server controller, a transmission frame generator(330) encodes a multimedia source(320) through a transcoder(332) and an encoder by using codec pool. The transmission frame generator produces a transfer frame in which the multimedia contents and the decoding codec are included. The transmission frame generator transmits the transfer frame to the open codec player.

A communication method, a pico net coordinator thereof, a wireless local area network, and a mobile communication terminal apparatus are provided to move to a new channel when a currently using channel has error, thereby preventing communication disconnection. A channel divider(110) receives a channel allocation request from a device and determines whether QoS(Quality of Service) guaranteeing is required to the channel required for allocation. A monitoring processing unit(120) reserves a replacement channel about the channel in which the QoS guaranteeing is required. If a state error larger than a reference value in QoS information of the communication channel is detected, the monitoring processing unit replaces the communication channel with the replacement channel to communicate with the device.

An apparatus and a method of recognizing a position for minimizing power consumption in a sensor network environment are provided to continuously recognize the position in spite of expansion of a system through auto beaconing of a semi-automatic type. A method of recognizing a position for minimizing power consumption in a sensor network environment includes the steps of: calculating initial position coordinates with beacon information received from adjacent beacons through a broadcasted beacon solicitation signal, transmitting a synchronizing signal to the corresponding beacons, and synchronizing the signal(S100); receiving supersonic waves generated in the adjacent beacons activated through a broadcasted start message, and calculating position coordinates(S200); and transmitting a handoff processing message to a newly activated beacon if the calculated position coordinates exist at a pre-set handoff critical position, and performing a handoff processing routine(S300).

Abstract:
A method for automatically selecting a cluster header in a wireless sensor network and a method for dynamically configuring a security wireless sensor network are provided to automatically select a cluster header in consideration of the remaining energy capacity or hardware capability. Each normal node broadcasts its own capability characteristics information, identification information of a cluster to which each normal node belongs and cluster header select information including its own identification information to neighbor nodes. Each normal node determines whether it is selected as a cluster header based on the cluster header select information received from the neighbor nodes. The capability characteristics information is set according to at least one of a remaining energy capacity, hardware capability and an amount of energy consumption.

본 발명은 하드디스크(hard disk)나 플래시 메모리(flash memory)에 대한 저장매체에 대해 저널링(journaling) 파일 시스템을 구성할 때, 파일 시스템의 부팅 시간을 빠르게 하고 파일 시스템 회복을 쉽게 하기 위한 이중 저널링(Doubly Journaling) 저장방법에 관한 것으로, 한 종류의 데이터는 저장 매체의 처음 위치부터 저널링 방식으로 저장하고, 다른 종류의 데이터는 저장 매체의 끝 위치부터 처음 방향으로 저널링 방식으로 저장하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A method for previously registering and requesting release of a mobile IP by using a speed sensor is provided to solve network delay and packet loss generated when a mobile terminal is handoff. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal receives a speed value from a speed sensor(S10) and reads an advertisement list received from an external agent(S20). The mobile terminal compares the read advertisement list with network information used in its path(S30). If the list and the network information are not identical, the mobile terminal informs its mobile IP module to perform previous registration by using the information of the corresponding network and add the previously registered path on a registration list until reading all the other advertisement lists(S40-S60). The mobile terminal calculates standby time taken for getting out of a boundary region of a sub-network where the speed sensor is installed(S70). The mobile terminal is in standby until the standby time elapses(S80). When the standby time elapses, the mobile terminal determines that it gets out of the sub-network boundary region, reads the registration list(S90), and then, discriminates whether its path is identical to the previously registered paths on the registration list(S100). If its path is identical to the previously registered paths, the mobile terminal is in standby on the current path until receiving a next speed value of the speed sensor(S110,S120). If its path is not identical to the previously registered path, the mobile terminal reads all the other paths, release the registration, and then, deletes the released paths from the registration list(S130,S140).
