Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for a building modeling and a method thereof are provided to rapidly and more realistically perform a modeling by compensating various noises in the picture. CONSTITUTION: A wall image acquisition unit(120) receives 3D building modeling information using an aerial picture. The wall image acquisition unit obtains wall texture image about each building wall using the 3D building modeling information. A wall image processing unit(130) receives the wall texture image from the wall image acquisition unit. The wall image processing unit sets textual image in order to compensate an occlusion region in the wall textual image. The wall image processing unit creates final wall image by synthesizing the textual image with the image of the occlusion region.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for fast processing a large capacity spatial image are provided to enhance a network efficiency and manage system resources efficiently by reducing the unnecessary data transmission between a server and a client on a network environment as transmitting only a processing result of a processor. CONSTITUTION: Spatial image processing servers(230,240) are operated by combining various processor through a virtual pipeline, and process the result of the processor through the pipeline fast. Spatial image database servers(210,220) store various large capacity spatial images without changing a format and a configuration characteristic, and manage the data by using a hierarchical optimal division and multi-resolution method. Clients(250) present the result to a user by exchanging the result and an instruction for the requested data through the cooperation between the data server and the processing server when the user requests the spatial image data. A network(260) connecting the processing servers, the data servers, and the clients performs a distributed process by transmitting the data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for calculating light flow and camera motion from motion pictures using correlation matching and a system model is provided to obtain light flow from continuous motion pictures to calculate camera motion. CONSTITUTION: A characteristic point extractor(100) extracts characteristic points of continuous images including previous and current images. A light flow calculator(110) calculates light flow using the extracted characteristic points. The first camera motion calculator(120) calculates camera motion using the calculated light flow. The second camera motion calculator(130) removes light flow erroneously calculated and than re-calculates camera motion information. A light flow position estimator(140) estimates a distance difference between a characteristic point estimation position in the previous image and current characteristic point position according to the camera motion calculated by the second camera motion calculator to provide the distance difference information to the light flow calculator. A weight calculator(150) sets weights of correlation matching, position error matching and edge intensity matching according to the camera motion calculated by the second camera motion calculator to supply the weights to the light flow calculator.
