본 발명은 핸드오버 지연을 줄이기 위한 주변 이동 기지국 파악 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 측면은, 서로 다른 방향을 가지는 복수의 기지국 상대 이동 벡터를 가정하고, 상기 가정한 각 기지국 상대 이동 벡터의 수신 부호 강도 변화를 예측하고, 상기 수신 부호 강도 변화를 실제로 측정하고, 상기 수신 부호 강도 변화에 대한 예측 결과와 실제 측정 결과를 비교하고, 상기 비교 결과를 바탕으로 기지국 상대 이동 벡터를 파악하며, 상기 파악된 기지국 상대 이동 벡터를 이용하여 핸드오버 지연을 줄이기 위한 주변 기지국의 스캐닝 우선 순위를 결정하는 주변 이동 기지국 파악 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 핸드오버 발생 가능성이 낮은 주변 기지국에 스캐닝 우선 순위를 적용하여 스캐닝 소요 시간을 줄임으로써 핸드오버 지연을 줄일 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다. 이동 기지국, 상대 이동, 핸드오버 지연, 스캐닝, 군사

PURPOSE: A routing device supporting a mutual roaming between a mobile IP(Internet Protocol) and a communication system is provided to basically mount a support function for the mobile IP protocol, and to adopt same routers to each system, so as to support a mobility of a terminal and a mutual roaming between each communication system, and to support a data exchange function of an IP(Internet Protocol) layer. CONSTITUTION: A mobile IP(Internet Protocol) supporting block(102) supports a roaming between a mobile IP and a communication system. FAs(Foreign Agents)(104,107) store register information of a terminal. HAs(Home Agents)(105,108) store an FA internet address of a terminal visiting an other region as a care-of address. A switching block(101) is connected to the IP supporting block(102), the FAs(104,107), and the HAs(105,108), and performs a data exchanging function with an exterior. A wireless communication protocol block(103) is connected with the switching block(101) to support a wireless communication protocol, and is connected with the mobile IP supporting block(102) to support a roaming between communication systems. VLRs(Visitor Location Registers)(106,107) are connected with the wireless communication protocol supporting block(103), and store register information of the terminal visiting the other region, A HLR(Home Location Register)(110) is connected with the wireless communication protocol supporting block(103), and stores terminal information.

PURPOSE: A resource allocation method in a wireless network is provided to adaptively allocate resources according to the conversion of topology in each node. CONSTITUTION: When a node is added to existed topology, the node receives a beacon message from a neighbor node(S800,S810). The node competes with the neighbor nodes for reserving a beacon slot(S820). When a collision is generated, the node notifies the collision during a beacon transmission section(S830,S840). When the collision is not generated, the node selects the beacon slot(S850). The node notifies the selected beacon slot to one hop neighbor node(S860).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A topology control method in a wireless network is provided to simultaneously reduce the energy consumption and interference of a node by determining optimal transmission power by determining the optimal number of neighbor nodes. CONSTITUTION: Interference for interference nodes is calculated using present transmission power(S1050). A candidate neighbor node is selected from a candidate neighbor node group according to a distance(S1060). Candidate transmission power satisfied with a target SINR(Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio) of the candidate neighbor node is allocated to the node(S1070). Interference generated by the candidate transmission power for an interference node is calculated(S1080). When a formula(Iic >= Ii) is satisfied, the node is included in the candidate neighbor node group(S1090,S1100).

본 발명은 이동 기지국을 이용한 위치 정보 관리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 단말의 위치정보를 가지는 복수개의 이동 기지국을 포함하고, 복수개의 이동 기지국은 트리 구조를 형성하고, 트리구조에서 상위 노드에 해당하는 이동 기지국이 상위 노드의 하위 노드에 해당하는 모든 이동 기지국 및 모든 이동 기지국이 가지는 단말의 위치 정보를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동 기지국을 이용한 위치 정보 관리 장치를 제공한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 상위 노드의 이동기지국과 하위 노드의 이동기지국이 중복해서 위치 정보를 저장하게 되므로 정보의 분산관리로 인한 신뢰성이 증가하는 효과가 있으며, 트리 구조 중 일부 노드가 소멸된 경우에도 즉시 복구가 가능하다. 또한, 트리구조를 통하여 검색하고자 하는 이동 단말이 상, 하위 노드 중 어느 노드에 속하는지 잘 모르는 경우에도 신속한 탐색이 가능하다. 이동 기지국, 트리, 위치정보

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for providing a group handover are provided to selectively give a handover delay in consideration of QoS(Quality of service) of a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A candidate network setup unit(102) sets up a candidate network of a network group according to a signal level received from a signal level reception unit. A handover determining unit(104) adjusts the participation probability according to the quality of a service. A handover execution unit(106) performs the handover by selectively giving a handover delay according to the handover participation probability.

PURPOSE: A handover apparatus and method thereof are provided to perform handoff in consideration of the transition speed and location topography of a mobile station and to reduce the times of unnecessary handover. CONSTITUTION: An RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication) comparison unit(110) calculates the difference value of RSSI. A difference value accumulator(120) accumulates the difference value and previous difference value. If the comparison result of a preset hysteresis value and an accumulated difference value satisfies preset handover conditions, a handover determination unit(130) decides the performance of the handover. A handover performing unit(140) performs the handover varying connection into a cell which is searched from the cell connected among a plurality of cells.

PURPOSE: A scheduling method for securing transmission quality and increasing system capacity, in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) cellular environment having a multi-cell structure, is provided to increase the capacity of wireless blocks using location information of a mobile station, and to improve performance. CONSTITUTION: When allocating packets in priority order, the amount of transmission packets of different mobile station of an identical area in a slot to be allocated is confirmed. A transmittable packet number is decided, to prevent a total interruption amount by the mobile station in the identical area from exceeding a preset boundary value.
