    Abstract: An apparatus for reducing noise of a blade of a wiper for a vehicle is provided to detect the reversal position of the wiper blade by providing a reversal detection unit in a cam plate and installing a spring contact piece connected to a wiper control unit within the radius of rotation thereof. In an apparatus for reducing noise of a blade of a wiper for a vehicle, a reversal detection unit is provided at a position corresponding to a reversal section of the blade on the upper surface of a cam plate(20) installed along a connecting shaft(11) of a wiper motor. A spring contact piece is installed on a rotation path of the reversal detection unit. The operational speed of the wiper is reduced by dropping the voltage of a wiper motor at a reversal position of the wiper blade by connecting the spring contact piece to a wiper control unit.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for extending the wiping area of a wiper device for a vehicle is provided to control the wiping area of a wiper and secure a driver's field of view. CONSTITUTION: A wiper device comprises a transfer link connecting a driving arm and a slave arm, a wiper arm formed on a side of the transfer link, and a wiper blade formed on a side of the transfer link, to wipe windshield. A driving unit(20) fixed with a rotating shaft of a wiper motor to the driving arm is installed to a base plate(11). A transmission unit(30) guiding the driving force is fixed around the driving unit. A slave unit(40), reciprocating in a guide groove(11a) of the base plate right and left while having rolling contacts with the driving unit, is connected with the slave arm. A height control unit, controlling a trace of the wiper blade by controlling the height of the slave unit, to control the reciprocating distance of the slave unit, is formed to the lower part of the base plate. The driving unit comprises a driving shaft(22) forming a driving gear(21). The slave unit comprises a slave shaft(42) having a contact member(41) to reciprocate right and left while having rolling contact with plate cams(31).
