Abstract: Disclosed is a device for heating a fluid and a fuel system for a vehicle using the same, including a fluid injection hole for injecting a fluid; a fluid discharging hole for discharging a fluid; a case having an internal space funneled with the fluid discharging hole and the fluid injection hole; a PTC element built inside the internal space for receiving an external power source to generate heat; and a combined heat radiation plate for power supply for supplying an external power source to the PTC element and having one or more fluid flowing holes installed between the PTC element in order to receive heat from the PTC element. The fluid flowing hole guides and heats the fluid when the fluid flows from the fluid injection hole through the fluid discharging hole. Therefore, the vehicle equipped with the above fuel system can have enhanced cold starting properties.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure of a fuel-heater for a diesel vehicle mounted on the top of a fuel-heater so as to heat fuel, which has flowed in from upside, with a PTC device and discharge the fuel to a fuel filter at a lower side. The structure of a fuel-heater for a diesel vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a PTC device mounted between plates arranged at upper and lower sides and generating heat by the application of power; an upper housing combined with the upper side of the PTC device, and having an outer wall surface part and an inner wall surface part protruding downward, wherein the inner wall surface part is separated inward from the outer wall surface part; and a lower housing combined with the upper housing at the lower side of the PTC device, and having a middle wall surface part protruding upward to be advanced between the outer wall surface part and the inner wall surface part. The upper housing has an inflow hole for introducing the fuel. An opened flow path is formed between the inner wall surface part and the middle wall surface part and between the outer wall surface part and the middle wall surface part so as to make the fuel flow. The present invention can be formed in the shape of a ring because an upper plate, a lower plate and a planar plate, which are arranged below and above the PTC device, can be mounted on the lower housing. Therefore, the present invention can dissipate heat generated by the PTC device efficiently. The present invention can reduce the flowing pressure loss of the fuel and can increase heat exchanging efficiency by forming a flow path for passing the fuel in a vertically trembling shape.
