Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering wheel-dynamic damper control method is provided to reduce vibration performance in total RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of the engine in idling, using a built-in hot wire type variable bush. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel-dynamic damper control method comprises steps of receiving engine RPM and an idle switch signal from an engine control unit(S110) and converting the received engine RPM into the appropriate frequency(S120); converting the converted frequency into the hardness of a bush(S130) and then setting up the temperature of the bush according to the hardness of the bush(S140); comparing the set temperature of the bush with the real temperature of the bush(S150); diagnosing an idle state of the engine if the set temperature of the bush is higher than the real temperature of the bush(S160); and outputting predetermined hot wire-operating voltage until the set temperature of the bush and the real temperature of the bush are the same if an idle state is diagnosed(S170). Thus, constitution of parts is minimized and voltage given to the bush can be controlled.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A pneumatic pressure warning apparatus for a tire of a vehicle is provided to sound an alarm, and to check the state of pneumatic pressure accurately and conveniently during traveling by detecting fluctuation of pneumatic pressure from the tire with measuring the first cavity resonance from noise, averaging and comparing through learning. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic pressure warning system of a tire is composed of plural noise input units having oriented microphones(10,10',10a,10a') installed in the vehicle bodies in the rear parts of wheels, and converting noise from the tire of the wheel into electric acoustic signals; a control unit(20) comparing the frequency signal of first cavity resonance among acoustic signals from microphones with the predetermined value, and warning the pneumatic pressure state of the tire; and an alarm unit(30) sounding the alarm on change of pneumatic pressure of the tire corresponding to control of the control unit. The pneumatic pressure state of the tire is detected accurately and conveniently by measuring the first cavity resonance, averaging and comparing through learning.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A vibration damper of a vehicle using a radiator is provided to vary the elastic characteristic of a rubber bush and to more simply damp vibration over the frequency band of a wide range. CONSTITUTION: A vibration damper using a radiator is composed of a radiator(10), a rubber bush(20) installing the radiator on a front end of a vehicle body, a heat line(21) and a temperature sensor(22) embedded in the rubber bush, a controller(30) connected with the heat line and the temperature sensor and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(40) connected with the controller to give engine RPM, an idle signal and voltage to the controller. The target temperature of the rubber bush according to the engine RPM(Revolution per minute) is mapped in the controller. When the controller gives the voltage to the heat line, the temperature of the rubber bush is appropriately increased according to the engine RPM. Then the elasticity of the rubber bush is varied to a value to set off the frequency of main vibration from the engine RPM. Accordingly, the main vibration of the vehicle is damped over all the idle areas.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A preheating apparatus of a steering wheel for a vehicle is provided to prevent power consumption of a battery by preheating the steering wheel with converting vibration into current, and to cut down expenses by regulating preheating temperature with the bimetal. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel preheating device of a vehicle is composed of a piezoelectric sensor(20) converting vibration from a steering wheel(10) into electricity; a controller(30) amplifying voltage from the piezoelectric sensor, and controlling supply of current; and a resistance coil(40) receiving current from the controller for heating. The controller has an amplifier boosting voltage of the piezoelectric sensor, and a bimetal switch supplying and shutting off current to the resistance coil according to temperature. The steering wheel is preheated by converting vibration into current, and temperature is adjusted with the bimetal switch. Power consumption of the battery is prevented, and expenses are reduced with simple structure.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering wheel of a vehicle having a cooling system is provided to maintain temperature of the steering wheel with thermal conduction by using peltier effect of a thermoelectric module. CONSTITUTION: A steering wheel(SW) for vehicle having a cooling system comprises an operating switch(10), a voltage reducing device(20) and an adjusting unit(30). The operating switch is equipped in a driver's seat. Power of a battery(B) is transmitted by the operating switch. The voltage reducing device adjusts a 12volt current to be applied from the operating switch to a 2volt to a 5volt current. Peltier effect is occurred by power from the voltage reducing device. The adjusting unit is equipped to a rim to lower temperature of the steering wheel by peltier effect. Therefore, relatively high temperature of an outer portion of the rim is released to outer space by exothermic and endothermic operations.
