Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas post-treatment system and control method thereof are provided to prevent unnecessary regenerations of the diesel smoke filter because the coolant and the exhaust gas temperature reference values are lowered in case the RPM(Revolution Per Minute) or the fuel injection quantity of an engine exceeds the standard value. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas post-treatment method is as follows. The number of rotation and the fuel injection quantity of an engine(110) are detected during driving(S200,S215). Whether the number of rotation exceeds the preset reference RPM or not is decided(S225). Whether the fuel injection quantity exceeds the preset reference fuel injection quantity or not is decided(S230). In case the number of rotation or the fuel injection quantity exceeds the standard values, the coolant temperature standard value to stop the regeneration of DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) becomes lowered(S235,S240).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for calculating accelerator open value is provided to improve the fuel consumption by preventing unnecessary fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating accelerator open value is as followings. An operator presses an accelerator 100% while driving by extracting the maximum value among the output voltage of the accelerator position sensor with the read peak voltage, the accelerator stroke 100% reference voltage is the output voltage of the expected accelerator position sensor is updated as the read peak voltage(S21). The updated accelerator stroke 100% reference voltage is used to calculate the accelerator opening degree to determine the status condition satisfies the current vehicle driving(S23). The accelerator opening degree according to the output voltage of the accelerator position sensor is produced the output voltage and accelerator stroke 100% reference voltage of the accelerator position sensor are applied(S25).

The EGR valve is controlled based on two control duties if operation information of an engine meets a control condition for the EGR valve. The control duty has a maximum value of 95% if refrigerant is subject to a condition of an above-zero degree and 70% if refrigerant is subject to a condition of a sub-zero degree.
