Abstract: PURPOSE: An Inverter is provided to improve the cooling performance and the lifetime of a snubber capacitor by improving a mounting structure and a shape of the snubber capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A snubber capacitor(13) is installed outside an inverter. A connection terminal(13a) of the snubber capacitor is inserted through an inserting hole inside an inverter housing(21). An IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) power module is arranged to the inside of the inverter housing. The connection terminal of the snubber capacitor is fixed and coupled in an input terminal(11b) of the IGBT power module. A tightening terminal is formed in the case of the snubber capacitor. The tightening terminal is fixed and coupled with a bolt in the inverter housing. The case of the snubber capacitor is made of the metal material.

Abstract: A device and a method for controlling regeneration energy of a motor driving system are provided to improve energy using efficiency by recharging an additional battery with the regeneration energy generated in a UCG(Uncontrolled Generator) mode. A device for controlling regeneration energy of a motor driving system includes a DC link voltage terminal(20), an inverter(30), a DC link voltage level sensing unit(40), a dynamic braking circuit(50), a discharge resistor(60), a flyback DC-DC converter(70), and a battery charger(90).
