Abstract: A muffler of a vehicle is provided to improve the generating power of an engine and reduce flow-induced noise by applying a dual tube on an exhaust inflow pipe flowing the exhaust gas into a muffler housing. A muffler of a vehicle comprises: two baffles(2a,2b) dividing the inside of a muffler housing(1) which is sealed into front, center, and rear chambers(3a,3b,3c); an exhaust inflow pipe(4) which is inserted inside the housing, and induces the exhaust gas to the rear chamber; a middle pipe(5) inducing the exhaust gas of the rear chamber to the front chamber; and an exhaust outflow pipe(6) inducing the exhaust gas within the front chamber to the outside of the housing. The exhaust inflow pipe successively passes through two baffles and is extended to the rear chamber after being inserted into the front chamber. A part of the exhaust inflow pipe extended from the front chamber to the rear chamber is formed of a dual tube(4a).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A muffler for a vehicle is provided to secure the length of a shaft in order to increase the volume by positioning a main muffler in the front side more than a rear suspension, and to optimize the reduction of booming noise. CONSTITUTION: A muffler for a vehicle comprises a main muffler (100), multiple baffles (111-114), an inlet pipe (120), an exhaust pipe (130), a middle pipe (140), and a variable valve (150). The main muffler is placed in the front of a rear suspension. Multiple baffles divide the inside of the main muffler into multiple chambers (101-105). The inlet pipe is installed in one side center of the main muffler, penetrates the multiple baffles, and is placed inside the chamber. The exhaust pipe is installed in the lower side of the other side of the main muffler, penetrates the multiple baffles, and emits exhaust gas, which has flown into through the inlet pipe, to the outside. The exhaust gas, which is emitted from the outlet of the inlet pipe, communicates with the middle pipe. The variable valve communicates with an adjacent chamber by opening or closing the exhaust gas emitted from the outlet of the middle pipe depending on the back pressure.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust gas device of an automobile engine is provided to reduce noise in a starting section and a constant speed section by successively opening a first valve and a second valve. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas device of an automobile engine comprises an exhaust pipe(10), a baffle board(20), a movable plate, a second spring, a plurality of baffle hole opening and closing rods(60), a second exhausting hole opening and closing plate and a first spring. The exhaust pipe has a first exhausting hole perforation part(11) at the outer circumference and multiple second exhausting holes on a center part. The baffle board is installed in front of the second exhausting hole and a plurality of baffle holes(21) is formed concentrically. A stationary plate is installed inside the rear side of the exhaust pipe. The movable plate is installed in front of the stationary plate. The second spring is installed between the stationary plate and the movable plate and supports the movable plate.
