    Abstract: A device of sensing opening of a hood of a vehicle is provided to prevent an engine room layout from being limited by a device configuration by sensing opening of the hood by using the existing hood latch. A device of sensing opening of a hood of a vehicle includes a latch pin(13) and a latch(12). The latch pin is fixed to a hold latch case. A portion of the latch pin other than a conductive part(13a) having a predetermined thickness is coated with a non-conductor. The portion of the latch, which comes into contact with the conductive part when the hood is completely closed, is coated with a non-conductor.
