    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition for use in interior and exterior materials of cars, which has excellent dimensional stability at a high temperature, improved impact resistance, and excellent moldability and coating property. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises: 30-70 wt% of a rubber latex; 10-30 wt% of a graft copolymer(I) comprising 70-30 wt% of a mixed monomer consisting of 20-40 wt% of a vinyl cyanide monomer and 60-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound monomer; 20-50 wt% of a non-linear graft copolymer(II) consisting of 20-40 wt% of a vinyl cyanide monomer and 60-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound monomer and having a weight average molecular weight of 200,000-1,000,000; and 20-60 wt% of a linear graft copolymer(III) consisting of 20-40 wt% of a vinyl cyanide monomer and 60-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound monomer and having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000-200,000.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A resin composition is provided, which is improved in the low temperature impact resistance, the hardness and the flowability by optimizing the dispersibility and particle size of rubber, and can be applied to the bumper cover of a car. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition comprises 70-95 wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer resin; 5-20 wt% of a thermoplastic elastic rubber; and 0-10 wt% of an inorganic filler. The ethylene-propylene copolymer resin contains ethylene by the amount of 15-25 % and has a melting index of 10-30 g/10 min(230 deg.C, 2.16 kgf). Preferably the thermoplastic elastic rubber is at least one selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-propylene rubber containing 70-80 % of ethylene, an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber containing 70-80 % of ethylene and an ethylene-octene rubber containing 23-27 % of octene. The inorganic filler is preferably talc with a mean particle size of 1-10 micrometers.

The composition further includes 10-20 wt.% of ethylene-alpha-olefine copolymer rubber, 0-5 wt.% of talc, 1-2 wt.% of modified resin and 0.1-1.0 wt.% of additives. The ethylene-alpha-olefine copolymer rubber is ethylene-propylene rubber containing 25-45 wt.% of propylene and having 0.5-3g/10min.(230 deg.C.) of the melt index. The modified maleic anhydride is grafted ethylene-propylene rubber or ethylene-2-hydroxy ethylmethacrylate copolymer.

The composition has high heat deflection temperature such that it has excellent plating characteristics.
