Abstract: PURPOSE: An olefin-based resin composition is provided, which shows excellent stiffness, moldability, impact resistance, heat resistance, coating property and dimension stability, a small coefficient of thermal expansion and a remarkably improved fluidity. CONSTITUTION: The olefin-based resin composition comprises 20-40 wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer containing 7-12 wt% of ethylene-propylene rubber and 40-50 wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer containing 25-35 wt% of ethylene-propylene rubber, as a crystalline ethylene-propylene; 5-10 wt% of an ethylene-propylene rubber and 5-10 wt% of an ethylene-octene rubber, as an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber; 5-20 wt% of micro talc; 1-2 wt% of a modified resin; and additives. Preferably the content of propylene is 25-45 wt% in the ethylene-propylene rubber, and the ethylene-propylene rubber has a melt index of 8-12 g/10 min (230 deg.C); the content of octene is 20-30 wt% in the ethylene-octene rubber, and the ethylene-octene rubber has a melt index of 1-5 g/10 min (230 deg.C); the talc has an average particle size of 2-4 micrometers; and the modified resin is an ethylene-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate copolymer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A soft olefin based resin composition is provided for formability and painting ability at injection molding of bulk products as well as other physical properties such as impact-resistance and heat and high tensile strength by adding specific ethylene-alpha-olefine copolymer rubber, modified resin having polar groups and other favorable additives. CONSTITUTION: The soft olefin based composition comprises as the main components, 25-45 wt.% of ethylene-propylene copolymer containing 7-12 wt.% of the ethylene-propylene rubber; and 33-51 wt.% ethylene-propylene copolymer containing 20-30 wt.% of the ethylene-propylene rubber.
